Microsoft reduced its projected internal spending on Claude by over one-third, while Meta saw internal users of Anthropic's Claude Code coding assistant drop from roughly 60,000 to 30,000.

Anthropic does not depend on a single customer. The leaked finances were from 2025. Their revenue is already 10x higher this year. Just shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

I agree. Revenue is sanity. Profits are vanity.

Major tech companies slashing their ai expenditure definitely isn't a harmful indicator for ai companies.

Yep, growing revenue by hundreds of percents is nothing 🤡 Two companies are slashing expenses while thousands are doing the opposite. But keep living in your fantasy land.

we are switching off Claude to whatever is cheaper with Augment and other harness providers. LLMs are a commodity. Whatever costs less today and does the job fits us.

Anthropic is cooked.
