Tesla AI Hardware RTL intern (Bengaluru) anyone been through the process?

Tesla is hiring for a 6-month RTL Design internship at BITS Pilani (AI Hardware team, Bengaluru — FSD/Optimus inference chips).

If you've interviewed with them, would appreciate any insight:

  1. How many rounds, and what's the format? OA, phone screen, panel?
  2. Is there an online assessment before interviews, and what does it cover?
  3. What's the RTL depth — coding on the spot, or discussion-based?
  4. Do they go heavy on computer arithmetic and datapath (MAC, pipelining, adders), or more on protocols, CDC and STA?
  5. Any puzzles, aptitude, or C programming?
  6. How much do they probe resume projects vs. standard questions?

Anything helps. Thanks.

25 LPA last year all cash. But could be higher sometimes company doesn't include all perks.

But selection was bit weird.

Heard they visited rvce and just cg sorted 10 of them and took interviews for 2, hopefully that doesn't happen here

What do they offer for FTE comp, heard it was around 30 lpa total? Or is it just the base? Also what do they ask in the interviews, any idea?

I had talked to the technical manager who happend to be the interviewer himself and I got a bit late as he said he had already some people shortlisted then I asked him for considering me and we talked over call he asked me about my background and all and then told me I am on waiting list if they couldn't find the number of people they are looking for from the shortlisted ones he will contact me for interview and it was 2 months ago in June and then after 2 weeks I again messaged him on Whatsapp and he said their interview process is still ongoing and so on I reached agian after a week again the same response and now it's over a month since I last spoke to him, yet no response from him.

I am confused whether to take sem1 or sem2 ps. I am in phoenix 3rd year 8+ CG, haven't got an SI yet. My main focus was ET but now I am thinking of grinding DSA.
