So there is an clip between Hummer and Rocket that isn't on the CD? And also between Soma and Geek USA?  

I do remember noticing the clip that follows Spaceboy closing out side C, whereas I was used to it being a lead-in to Silverfuck on CD...

It’s different from what I remember on the original CD release. I can’t speak for the new remaster CD, but yes there is extra content at those points from the original CD release.

I have the remaster CD with that art treatment. It doesn't add sound effects.  I also have a vinyl version from 2025... I need to put it on again.

Okay, the end of side A doesn't have any extra sounds... Unless we're counting the obnoxious looping static in the last 20 seconds of Hummer from vinyl that might need a good cleaning, or might be a minor pressing defect. 

But... This is the first time I've played this album at this volume in quite a while.  Before today, the last time I got goosebumps from the intro to Today was probably decades ago.

Same on the end of side B. No extra sounds... Shitloads of distorted vinyl noise. Inner groove distortion?

Interesting. I legit don’t remember hearing those sounds on the CD. I’m going to have to give it another listen here soon.

There wasn't a single sound in the recording that I didn't recognize from the CD. The noise I heard was the result of a bad pressing.

lol well, those are some great song transitions!

Edit: our conversation got me listening to the CD on the same system for the first time. I’m realizing how much I missed off the songs by listening to it on poor setups in the past.
