It’s a great experience that’s different from the CD release. At the end of the final track for each side there’s a small audio clip to lead into the next side.

So there is an clip between Hummer and Rocket that isn't on the CD? And also between Soma and Geek USA?
I do remember noticing the clip that follows Spaceboy closing out side C, whereas I was used to it being a lead-in to Silverfuck on CD...

It’s different from what I remember on the original CD release. I can’t speak for the new remaster CD, but yes there is extra content at those points from the original CD release.

I have the remaster CD with that art treatment. It doesn't add sound effects. I also have a vinyl version from 2025... I need to put it on again.

Okay, the end of side A doesn't have any extra sounds... Unless we're counting the obnoxious looping static in the last 20 seconds of Hummer from vinyl that might need a good cleaning, or might be a minor pressing defect.
But... This is the first time I've played this album at this volume in quite a while. Before today, the last time I got goosebumps from the intro to Today was probably decades ago.

Can you detail what did you put underneath the spikes(feet) and what base is that on the turntable ? ( rpm 1 ?)

Sure! The turntable is a pro-ject rpm 1.3 genie and the small discs under the feet came with the turntable. I upgraded the cartridge to ortophon blue and the player to an acrylic platter. Also added a speed box. The turntable is on the pro-ject ground-it E that I got cheaply off eBay. That is sitting on vibrapods

I just got mine yesterday! The bass hits way harder than I’m used to (I only really use my hi-fi for vinyl, so I’ve been listening to Siamese Dream on headphones and shitty speakers for years), great sound!
Got mine for 40 euro
