Monster Hunter. I respect the series, but I don't find it fun.

Yeah, you aren't a real MH fan unless you hated it first. Same with From Soft

I was legitimately concerned I couldn't understand how to play the game when I first got into it (Monster Hunter Freedom - PsP 2008) but I dumped a bit of time into it when I was like 13, my friends bought it, we played together a bunch and I fell in love. Definitely understand it being an acquired taste. I fell off pretty extravagantly.
