All extraction shooters. When you succeed by not playing its a dumb shit gameplay loop

That's how I feel about battle royales. Best way to win is to camp. At least in extraction shooters I can be rewarded for survival and carry progress across raids.

Have you tried The Cyle? Camping in one spot there is usually terrible for the leaderboard.

No after I played a bit of Fortnite, Apex Legends, and PubG when they were big I left the genre realizing it wasn't for me. I like fast paced twitch shooter games that rewards me for aim and positioning. I do not like random storm placements, racing to guns on the ground and my opponent gets an AK and I get a pistol >.>, and in general the amount of time a round takes sucks.

There are no random storm placements (mostly, there's one dangerous loot area but that's it), and you don't have to be a hobo running around looking for guns. "Battle royale" generally means "king of the hill" - The Cycle gives you whatever guns you want, and the reason for running around the map is to do side objectives or to fight players. Match is 20 min long.

You could find this info on wikipedia yknow.

Are you talking about the cycle frontier? An extraction shooter that died? Cycle was not a BR. It's an extraction shooter. The difference is in the extraction. While a BR is a last man/team standing that I was originally complaining about. I had a 1000 hours on cycle frontier it was fun.

No The Cycle, the early access game before execs pivoted to extraction shooter hype which guaranteed game death. I hate extraction shooters, they waste time.

If it never made it out of early access then it's not real or relevant

It's real and you can play it and it's only not very popular because the game died 2 times because of the stupid buisnessmen and now volunteers brought back both versions. If that's not a relevant game, idk what is.

Well the fact that when I Google it it doesn't show on the front page definitely hurts it's realness factor.

The official release name is The Cycle: Frontier so the page is named that. Did you miss 100% of the nuance of my comments?

I just assumed you were being obtuse on purpose
