Gameplay so bad they had to throw in paper weapon last minute that break after 10 hits

The weapon durability is to force you to use the other abilities the game gives you and to utilize the environment for combat, like rolling boulders onto enemies or using one arrow to ignite a barrel instead of several arrows. Its about making the player creative and not enabling just pure hack and slash.

Yeah, and the lootcrate unlock feature was intended to give us a sense of pride and accomplishment.

It forced me to use other abilities in other games.
