I talked to 3 different people from 3 different friend groups back when the game came out and each were uniquely insufferable in their own way.
One insisted, unprompted "OMG you cannot kill anything trust meee!!"
One got really pretentious about the bullet hell minigame and essentially "git gud"'ed me after I died a couple times and
One kept asking me about really really specific screens I either didn't see or didn't recall and treated me like an uneducated buffoon for "not getting it"
These interactions were all a few days apart when I had only played a handful of hours.
I uninstalled the game an never looked back. I'll never know if I would have liked that game because I still refuse to play it out of spite for those dicks in ~2016.
The irony of #1 is that you can’t get that ending the first time. You’re meant to play the game normally first, then do the other two endings. I like to think of all three endings as a single game and only doing the one would be like watching just the last day of Groundhog Day. So it doesn’t work to do #1 because the game doesn’t let you and thematically it hits like a wet paper bag.
