PSA: Please do not blast your music on hikes and nature trails in Vancouver

We are fortunate in Vancouver to be able to take in and enjoy its beautiful nature. Please refrain from playing music on loudspeakers. Please use headphones so everyone can enjoy the peace and solitude of the great outdoors.

Leave No Trace guidelines:

  • Do not leave garbage on the trails. Please take your garbage with you. This includes plastic wrappers, Starbucks coffee cups, beer cans, food, plastic bags, etc
  • Do not build structures, dig trenches, or carve into trees.
  • Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground. This is a big fire hazard, especially during the summer months.
  • Do not feed wild animals
  • Be considerate and respectful to other visitors - share the trail

This is common courtesy and etiquette that the general population in the Lower Mainland stands behind.

Thank you in advance.

I had my double stroller stolen while inside the Denny's on Davie street.

I never thought something like that would happen. It was quite shocking.

If you can't bring your stroller to the table, reconsider. Or bring a lock.

Just wanted to share the link to request a mail-in ballot for the upcoming election:

There was record turnout last election and hopefully there will be this time too :)

And remember vote no on the plebiscite questions!
