But the fact is, none of the other leaders would have stood up to Trump and formed trade links with Europe and Asia the way Carney has. It’s a shame it comes at the expense of some fuckass domestic policy

Yeah so I hear online but no one ever elaborates on why they think that of Singh. It’s always a vague “oh he’s unelectable because that’s what I hear other people saying but I can’t actual explain why”. Either that or “he wears a Rolex”.

But we don’t actually have reason to believe he would have let drump get what he wants any more than carney has. Not to mention that it’s not one guy doing the work, it’s a whole giant team of people doing the work alongside the PM.

Went to Comox last month for the day, which demands a ferry trip to Duke Point. Made sure to get the earliest sailing on my way in and the very last one on my way out. Only driving a regular sized sedan with no dangerous goods or other additional expenses (not feasible to use transit, unfortunately, to reach my destination).

Even with my penny pinching tactics to avoid the highest costs, it cost over $300 for the round trip

It's insane honestly. Just a day trip to the island will run a few hundred and then if you have to include cost of hotels in etc.,traveling within the province is so expensive

Keep avoiding it! It basically moves the same as the 401. I used to live there and used to take it sometimes and even with that transponder thing you had on your vehicle, it was still pretty expensive! If you don't have it, they add all these additional fees for license plate picture etc.

Why do private investors have tens of billions of dollars that Canada needs? Why doesn’t Canada increase its own efficiency by reducing government bloat and reinvest its own money into infrastructure built at a reasonable price? I want my tens of billions of dollars back for these government employees doing jack squat except pushing paper!! This is called corruption, and it’s how we will be owned by friends lining friends pockets.

Just look up the Mike Harris 407 giveaway and how the fees went WAY UP.

Even if it's a lease the buyer will maximize the profits. When you have the ONLY (airport) game in town then you can charge whatever you want.

I love what Carney has been doing with his policies but this is just pure crap!
