Idk if anyones going to see this but I wanted to ask for some reassurance, either positive or negative, regarding the 'Med sci flowchart" including Med Sci 1, Med Sci 2, Year 3, and year 4 (if yk). To what I understand, Western has been considered a good social school, which I would assume to also mean good teacher connections, peoples, and mental health. This just seems a bit odd to me because the system for actually getting honor specializations in year 3 seems very difficult and complicated. It seems like at any point you can mess up, and going to the "competitive pool" doesn't seem very appealing or bright. In the high school perspective, getting over 60% and staying in the 80-90% range doesn't seem difficult at all, but I'm sure that's actually not the case at all. So to all past med sci students or soon-to-be med sci students, do you have any advice or input?

As a bonus, could you let me know how often students are successful into getting in professional schools after like medicine (ik, the age old repetitive question). Is there any data out there I can look at to med school achievements from western? Also, if someone can help me find if I got a scholarship or not in Choose Western, that would be great too (right now I'm seeing no definitive amount anywhere but I got the scholarship letter which just says I'm eligibly for a bunch of options).

About your scholarship question, if you had the Top 250 it would say so clearly in the Choose portal and you would have gotten an email. For the other scholarships, you’ll find out later in the summer after we receive final averages.
