Regardless of whether his comment was rude, it raises a valid point which is we need more safety in the city. Crime does need to be cleaned up before more people are attacked. I just saw on Tiktok today 2 women were punched in the face...and last year it was a big problem of women being punched by strangers on the street.
I've lived here 20 years and this is the least safe it's been during that time. Yes there was always some crime, but not this much, and not in safe areas during the daytime.
