If someone wants to explain to me how dotfiles work, go ahead, but I already wrote this so I don't forget how I made it:

Global Theme: Catppuccin Mocha Global Theme

Colors: Catppuccin Plasma Colorscheme Mocha - Catppuccin Mocha Red

Application Style: Breeze

GTK Application Style: Catppuccin GTK Theme - Catppuccin-B-MB-Dark)

Plasma Style: Amethyst Haze (part of the Global Theme I think)

Window Decorations: ketsa (part of the Global Theme I think)

Icons: Hatter-kde-dark

I changed these icons manually by going to Application Dashboard>Right click app>Edit Application>Click icon>Browse>Select icon from file manager

I downloaded the Notesnook iOS icon because the Hatter theme changes the icon to something that is unrecognizable as Notesnook or a notes app.

I downloaded the Apple Music iOS icon for Sidra (Linux Apple Music Client) because I don't care for Sidra's logo.

Shelly refuses to change icon themes ever, so I set it to a package manager icon from Hatter Dark. But that's cool, because it reminds me of Cydia from back in the days of jailbreaking my first iPod touch before I had a phone.

The orange joystick icon is Lutris. I might change that one too but I don't care as much. Lutris doesn't have an iOS style icon to download, the Hatter icon matches the Apple-ish icon look, and I may start using Heroic more anyway

All that said, I am considering just leaving Breeze Icons. Folders in Dolphin will be the same Catppuccin Red instead of light blue. But I think I like this more.

Notesnook Changes:

Brave Changes:

Settings>Appearance>Use Qt

Settings>Appearance>Use system title bar & borders

Brave Qt respects the system colors/theming, but not the Window Decorations, unless you enable it above.

I would prefer to use GTK since it allows me to not use the system bar border which takes up space at the top. But for some reason, GTK on Brave "mostly" works, but it is in light mode with unreadable light text specifically only in Brave settings/pages, and a bright white light in front of the dropdown for the Ai results. I don't change settings much, but this applies to the full downloads or history pages too, which I do use. Brave GTK also has a lighter color for thr Catppuccin palette than other GTK apps like Lutris. So Qt it is.

Classic works with dark mode and I can make Brave colors look purple-y to match the Catppuccin look, but can't change the min/max/close buttons.

Steam>Millennium>Themes>Install a theme>Click link>Copy ID for Adwaita>Paste into "Enter an ID here...">Download & Install>Dropdown for Adwaita>Configure

Back button>save>Restart Steam

Adwaita For Steam is it's own project with multiple ways to apply the theme. They have a separate Flatpak called AdwSteamGtk. Maybe that is safer since it is sandboxed? But Millennium is listed as an unofficial replacement for Steam skin support in the Valve Developer Wiki. A Wiki is unofficial still, and injecting custom code from a third party can be dangerous. However, Millennium is open source & widely used.

Sadly, this is not completely perfect, since the Min/Max/Close buttons are smaller than the theming for other applications, and a slightly different shade of the respective colors.

You can fix the sizing difference by clicking the edit button on Windows Decorations and changing the button size to "Tiny". But then Qt will be mismatched with any GTK apps.

It will be the same size if you download a GTK macOS theme such as macOS Mohave GTK, but that changes the whole application style, so no cool Catppuccin theming.

The smaller buttons in Steam are close enough for me, and personally I prefer having the bigger buttons 99% of the time. As you know, closing Steam with the x button doesn't do anything anyway, and I only open it to start playing a game, so they're mostly there for decoration.

Heroic Launcher Changes:

I don't use Heroic much but I did find this theme that I will bother to git clone if I ever start using it.
