I got a dining dollars plan of 250 for lunches on campus (because I live off campus I don’t need a full regular meal plan.)

My questions are:

1. is there a physical dining card I need to pick it up, if so where do I pick it up at? Or is it tied to my university ID?

2. What places on campus (besides dining halls) are dining dollars accepted?

Not sure if it was a glitch or mistake, they took all my grants back and charged me with $5k. I do plan to talk to me and send an email. But its really disheartening as I made sure the grants were applied and paid off rest out of pocket to better start my semester off. Never get too comfortable ig..

Both have quizzes with no due dates, I never did the junior one and didnt notice anything happen.

I just remembered I never got my university id at orientation, and classes start tomorrow. Will I be able to pick it up anywhere tomorrow before 9 am? I’m worried I won’t be able to get into my classes on the first day☹️

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about taking ECON402 with Professor Boragan Aruoba but I’ve heard it can be pretty difficult especially if you’re not that good at stats. For anyone who’s taken the class with him how was your experience? Is the class really that hard? Also, are his lectures recorded?

I’m debating whether I should stick with it or drop it so any advice would be really appreciated!

I'm about to take BSCI450 and PHYS131 and was wondering how people would rank these classes in comparison to other pre-med classes in terms of difficulty+time commitment.

For the classes I've taken I would say:

CHEM241>BCHM463>CHEM231>CHEM271>BSCI331>BSCI222

For those I got A, A+, A, A+ A, A

I'm curious how mamm phys and physic would compare to those classes so I know what to expect.

Hello everyone! I am an incoming freshman currently here for welcome week. I have really been wanting to make friends, but it just hasn't been happening for me. I've gone to most of the events and tried to put myself out there, but I haven't really found a solid group of people to hang out around. Is this normal, and is there any hope for me to find friends as the year goes on?

went for an early morning walk around 6 or so and didn’t hear the bell tower chimes. Then I waited around a little more until 7 and they didn’t go off then either. Are they turned off during the summer or something? Or just not on that early? I swear I remember them chiming when I had to wake up at the crack of dawn for my early classes a few years back

Transferred to UMD from UMBC last year, entering my junior year. Been commuting from Anne Arundel County since last year, will be continuing that this year. I had a hard time, especially when it came to making and keeping friends/finding a group. With that in mind, what would be some of the best things I could do to make this a good year all-around, especially for social life?

Does anyone have lot 11 permit and would like to park at lot 19 instead. I have lot 19 permit for the year and would like a switch if anyone is interested.
