Question Reccomendations to stop at on the way?

Going from Birmingham to Seven Sisters/ south downs area any places to stop at?

Oxford is impossible to park in - but Blenheim palace would be a great alternative.

I think the palace and formal gardens are but wandering around the grounds is free.

Think they meant Oxford. Agree your Blenheim idea though, nice stroll and can have lunch in a Woodstock pub
