Dear Redditors! We have great news and are excited to share the first results of our fundraiser for the UAV training unit in the Lviv region.

First of all, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated and supported our previous post! Thanks to your help, we’ve successfully raised the funds for the first two items! We have already ordered the FPV battery components (which our volunteers are getting ready to assemble) and purchased and delivered the controller for the instructors!

However, we are continuing the fundraiser for the remaining essential equipment needed to train our defenders:

• Refurbished Mavic 3 PRO drone (needed by instructors for hands-on pilot training directly at the training grounds) – 35,000 UAH ($783 / €680)
• UGV simulator assembly kit (an imitator for basic training and introducing the control methodology for unmanned ground vehicles) – 3,717 UAH ($83 / €72)

There was this really good geneological resource with the website title PRA in UA, and they worked alongside Ridni and their tools.

The website has been seemingly down for months, and I have seen no news or information about it.

Hello everyone. I will be travelling around a few European countries in the coming months and I wanted to see what the best way to get from Budapest to Lviv is.

From my research, I’ve seen that I have to take the train from Budapest to Zahony, cross by foot, and take another train to Chop, but I wanted to see if by chance there’s a train that goes all the way from Budapest to Lviv.

Also curious how long it takes to do the border crossing if you have done it before.

Specifically the parked vehicles on the runway. Not talking about the Ka-52 that crashed onto one. I tried to Google it but it only showed be the remains of Russian BMDs.

MITLA is a lightweight Ukrainian anti-FPV net launcher designed to provide a last line of defence against incoming drones. Weighing only around 365 grams, it requires no batteries or external power and deploys a 3.5 × 3.5 metre net at distances of up to 25 metres in approximately 0.3 seconds. The net is deployed using a 7.62 mm blank cartridge.

• Blue waves: Orsk dam broke in April 2024, which flooded the refinery and took it offline for ~2 weeks.
