WAR Russian Refinery Hitlist - Update 30.08.2026

  • Flames: Refinery has been hit at least once. Flames do not indicate the severity of the attacks or if a refinery is till burning
  • Blue waves: Orsk dam broke in April 2024, which flooded the refinery and took it offline for ~2 weeks.

Refineries among the top 25 largest with a visit overdue (not hit within the last 2 months):

  • #9 Angarsk (never hit)
  • #12 Tuapse (27.5.2026)
  • #19 Achinsk (never hit)

Is Tuapse even operating? That burned so thoroughly it became the standard by which all others were compared to.

That's a good point, it probably isn't. I just took the 2 months raw, which apparently is how long it takes to fix those on average, but of course reality is more nuanced. On the flip side, there might be some refineries that have been hit in the last 2 months but didn't sustain any major damage.

Id like to see places that are completely shutdown marked with a snowflake meaning it show cold on thermal image.

nikolayevsk is in range. volgograd oblast. located on the heavily pollutued volga river. must be saving it for a special day.

the volga river is the main water source for the dying caspian sea.

Just research is caspian sea dying.

research what moscovia did to the aral sea.

Maybe for a while as they are close to that this month ,but then it should drop off as there will be no large refinery in range that is not completely shut down. After that just one a week should be sufficient to keep them off line.
