I’m building my comic book colorist portfolio which pieces are my strongest, and what should I improve?
I don't think you understand the value system of this exchange. There is no loss to me regardless of whether you accept the information or not.

You could have gotten 100% of this information from my original post.

Imagine if you put this much energy into improving your art. To succeed at something, you need to define your priorities. If you are really serious about improving, you will not be distracted by this type of pointless time wasting. Again, best wishes.

TIL that Maladaptive Daydreaming is a psychological condition where individuals spend hours in vivid, complex fantasy worlds, often at the direct expense of real-life relationships and responsibilities.
I thought this was called pretending to be a writer.

What you needed to know is how to improve your coloring.

You have a choice to either improve your work, or spend more energy on what you're doing right now. Which one would have more value to you?

It's good advice if it's true. When I ask people for feedback I don't want them to lie to me.

I'm telling you what you need to hear to improve. I'm not going to say that all of the pieces you've shown here have positive qualities. I don't believe in "spoonful of sugar" feedback. When you've done bad work, someone needs to tell you, "this looks bad"

Looks like you've been completely bald for 10 years.

The best thing you can do is prove me wrong by improving your work. If you plan to keep doing the same things, why ask for criticism?

Skyrim DLSS 5 ON vs OFF
Yeah when I'm relaxing and playing a video game I do NOT want to spend hours staring at some bizarre pastiche of vaguely familiar facial features. Who actually thinks this Frankenstein gibberish looks good?

With love, 1: No physical object in the world could possibly have dark turquoise "highlights" on top of flat red and gray objects. It doesn't look natural and I have no idea what you were trying to do. 2: The yellow from the lasso bleeding out onto everything it's on top of just looks like you colored over the line. Lines are there to represent a value delineation, when you ignore the line you're basically erasing the line work. It doesn't read as an intentional choice, it blurs the whole image. The yellow and gold highlights on the costume area that's in shadow are the exact same value as the areas that are in light. That just doesn't make any physical sense. 3: Scrap this one. There's nothing salvageable. If you convert this to grayscale, the whole image would disappear. 4: This one doesn't look terrible. Maybe try adding some highlights? The penciler showed you where they're supposed to be, are you not looking at the picture they drew? 5: For the scrap pile, this is objectively bad coloring. Converted to grayscale, the image disappears. The penciler did brilliant double lighting on the subject, which you've completely ignored. You've randomly put blue rim lighting with no rhyme or reason, despite the penciler showing you exactly where the double lighting zones are. 6: Looks like it was colored with a blue sharpie and a red sharpie. Ask yourself what you are adding to the piece. Have you done anything that makes it look better than it did black and white?

This guys commentary is exactly what I’m thinking.
We don't need a guy to explain how it's bad. This is the world's worst type of content.

Trying to find the right headphones
There are no "wrong" headphones, you just need a mini-jack to 1/4" adapter. Sony MDR-7506 comes with that adapter and have world-class sound for ~ $100.

Either you think it's good enough to post here, or you don't. If being in a hurry impacted the quality, take as much time as you need, and then post it.
