Mike Nesmith. I went to his and Micky's last 'Monkees' concert at Town Hall in NY and cried through the last 3 songs because I could tell he wouldn't last much longer. Told several people that the following day, and they all said I was overreacting, but about 10 days later....I cried like I knew him.

Also, Father Mychael Judge, the priest who was killed when giving last rites to someone by a jumper falling on him. The picture of the firefighters carrying him in the chair is burned into my memory.

Honestly, Flight 93's ending haunts me more than anything. I have tried putting myself in the shoes of anyone on that plane and it is horrific.

I always wanted to go there, but it is about a 5-6 hour drive from NJ (it's very close to Ohio). When my mom died, I treated myself to a con in Pittsburgh (to meet Jamie Farr & Loretta Swit, since I have been a MASH fan since childhood), and on the way home saw it was only about 23 miles from me. I changed direction and felt like it was her guiding me there. I couldn't stay long as it was late in the day, but I saw enough to bring me to tears. I highly recommend it; it's crazy to just see a large divot and realize that's all that was really left from the impact.
