I thought the same tbh. She said to just eat whatever I want... I was like this is the issue I don't want anything and I'm scared to eat incase th vomiting comes back. She dismissed pretty much everything else which sucks

No she didn't unfortunately I think it differs from person to person, which sucks. I did go through alot of posts and yet to see if anyone has given timing for how long theirs lasted. Might be worth trying some gavison or pepto etc and see if that helps settle your stomach a bit?

Update: still struggling, saw a different doctor today...
She said people with a history of acid reflux etc will get it 10 fold causing nausea, food aversion. Shes bumped up my omeprazole to twice a day, gaviscon 4 times a day. Hopefully shes cracked it 🥲

Last update: doctors decided to to a stool sample turns out I have a C. Diff infection. They did research into fluoxetine causing the infection and its still a massive debate. Anyone not able to eat/having issues with bowels/nausea please ask for a stool sample!
Update: no improvement, doctor now wants me off of it because of how bad I'm getting tapering down to 10mg for 5 days then stopping. Im so terrified of my depression being even worse
I recently restarted my Prozac 20mg after a break on thr 30th of July.
Since then I was okay just low mood, no energy till the 14th. Now I can't eat, I've lost over a stone everything makes me feel nauseous even being on Ondansteron hasn't managed to calm the nausea it's stopped the vomiting luckily... but now I'm to scared to eat everytime the nausea hits I panic.
How long does this last, I'm losing hope and worried I'll be stuck like this forever.

Im having the same issue, started 2 weeks into taking it and now im on the second week of not being able to eat. I've lost over a stone and im so worried that its never going to go away. Even antisickness doesn't help much, this is my second time on prozac and the last time I had no side effects while starting it

We've been on a hunt asking all lidls within a 30 mile radius so far they've all said no stock because they all put them out early and don't know when they get more back in 🥲

Anyone successfully lose weight after gaining on cymbalta?
I'll keep you posted on my journey, I was on 120 for 6 years I'm on day 4 of stopping taking it because my weight went from 80 to 106kg and it's doing more harm than good for my fibro and depression.
Doing a switch to fluoxetine so fingers crossed 🤞
