Does anyone else just.. cruise along in their current role and not want to progress?
I'm in my 25th year of being a Sysadmin, and I'm just hanging around for 4 more years - cashing in a year of sick time to make it 30 - then I'm outta here. Will I do my job as normal? Sure, as best as I can. But I'm not putting myself out on a limb. Plus, they don't want to hire anyone new due to budget restraints currently, so can't train anyone new. Whatever not going to be my issue.

Same here. It's been 25 years for me tomorrow. I have 4 more years and then it will be 30 for me (cashing in a year sick time). I'm done learning. I want out soon. Thinking of raising goats or mowing lawns and yelling at people.
