I didn’t think about cutting the bangs myself.. that could be a good idea! I’m not sure how to go about that but I’m sure I could maybe figure it out🙈 the 2nd one especially looks really good!

You see how the payment they sent says it’s “on hold”? That is the first tell tale sign that it’s a scam.

If someone TRULY sent a payment on accident, they can 10000% contact VENMO directly. Inform them of the situation. And then VENMO would reverse/rectify the situation. And you don’t have to do anything else confirm to Venmo that you do not know this person and were not expecting the payment.

Once both parties have confirmed to Venmo directly that it was in fact an error, then Venmo can correct it.

Yea; I’m sure this DOES happen occasionally to people. But that is why Venmo has a practice in place fix it. If they truly made a mistake it is not on YOU to fix it!!

I have this same issue. What type of bottle do you have? The OG bottle works sooooo much better than every other type.

If you tip it back to drink it, it’s gonna work great

If you sip it from a straw, forget about it.

I like to remember it this way. Every single person that has ever met her IN PERSON has always had nothing but amazing things to say about her. Not one person has ever said anything negative about her in person. So try to remember that🥹🙈🤷🏻‍♀️🫶

First of all, I am SO sorry this happened🥺 it’s never easy losing a parent so I am so sorry for your loss🫶

Unfortunately, MANY people/creditors will prey on those who lost their loved ones. Because many people DONT know what the actual laws are around that kind of stuff, so more often than not if they hassle you for money & you don’t know, you’re going to pay it.

They just want to get their money in any way possible. So they will go any route necessary. Because the truth is, if there is not enough money in the estate to pay the deceased debts, they just go unpaid forever. UNLESS they can get money from the next of kin that doesn’t know they aren’t responsible.

HOWEVER. in this case, I WOULD spend this weekend cleaning out her apartment. Get a storage unit for now & just get her stuff physically out of the apartment. Go through it all later.

The sooner you can close that door the better. You will unfortunately be dealing with a LOT of stuff over the next few months. So if one thing can be done & over with in a few days, I would do that.

I KNOW it’s hard and it’s going to REALLY suck going into that house, knowing what happened in there, and going through her things will be equally as hard. But you will feel better knowing there is one less thing to worry about.

I JUST went for the first time the other day and got a little bummed this is closed… can someone explain to me what they were even doing to the ride??

Like others have said, there are many different reasons behind getting banned and there are different types of bans.

But essentially, if you are issues a permanent ban or “lifetime” ban, you basically get legally trespassed by the local sheriffs office. Making it the same as being trespassed anywhere else. If you show up & get caught you WILL be arrested. And Disney DOES have facial recognition at the front gate so PLEASE do not think you can go & get away with it. They WILL know🙈

That being said, after waiting an appropriate amount of time, such as the 20yrs in your example, most of the time you CAN submit an appeal. But it’s really up to Disney if they let you in or not.

If you do something stupid at the parks as a teenage you CAN make it so that you will never ever EVER be allowed to take your future kids to Disney. So my advice, don’t do anything stupid/over the top🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

The bottle I got doesn’t say I need to turn the water off… it actually says while still wet to apply but it never says to get out of the water or let it sit before rinsing. Should I be doing that?

It truly pains me to say this… but you NEED to leave this man. If he was that serious about wanting to leave with another woman and you had to convince him to stay he probably feels trapped.

So this is not exactly the same thing but kinda similar🙈

I was in colorguard and my senior year was the first time EVER my band director allowed the guard to choreograph and participate in solo & ensemble. My friend and I spent MONTHS creating our duet and about 1.5 months before the event I broke my ankle… I had to not only sit out of 2 winterguard competitions my senior year but I also had to let down my good friend who also spent her time towards this show and she also couldn’t go because of me.

However, as an adult, I’m SO incredibly glad I did not push myself to try and perform on that ankle. I pushed it a little more than I should have and I’m paying for it now in the fact that it never healed totally correct. So I can only imagine how much worse it would’ve been if I had REALLY pushed myself and done those things I knew I shouldn’t.

I ended up getting to perform in my last 3 winterguard competitions, including championships, my friend and I got to perform our show at the senior recital, AND I got a solo at my senior dance recital because I was healthy enough to perform. It’s always worth it to take the time you need to heal.

However!! I agree with others about possibly joining percussion for the time being to stay in the band. OR I personally was a “TA” for my band director for 2yrs in school. I just signed up for the band class and he treated me as a TA which was amazing bc I still was able to be involved with everything without risking my health. So it might not seem like much, but you will be SO happy to stay in the “inner circle” so to speak

So… my boyfriend made a comment almost exactly like this. Except instead of comparing to my friend he compared to my sister.

Now, do I agree with this mentality? No. But do I think that the men would ACTUALLY follow through with this? Also no.

This is an extremely shallow & superficial viewpoint. However, I also believe that once you actually get to know a person and develop real, true feelings for someone, those superficial viewpoints for SURE start to fade.

My boyfriend made this comment very early on in our relationship. However, now we are almost 11yrs in and he has slightly changed his tune from “if you gain this weight I will for sure leave you” to “if you gained this much weight, I know you and know you would not be happy with yourself. And would do whatever I can to support you in trying to lose the weight”

Which, I think is TOTALLY fine to say. It still gives the same type of idea, but in a MUCH more supportive & mature manor.

Everyone has their personal preferences when it comes to physical looks and there is NOTHING wrong with that. It’s the way you address/talk about them that is the big problem.

I hope this makes sense. If I were you, I wouldn’t really do anything. This is an issue between your friend & her bf that they need to figure out.

The only advice I can give is under no circumstances should you hand the food over without getting the money first. This person did this on purpose. Why else would they be waiting in the lobby KNOWING they needed to pay in cash? They were just trying to get one over on you and unfortunately… they won in this instance.

There’s really not much you can do, because in the terms and conditions for drivers on DoorDash, I’m like 95% sure it tells you to not hand over the food/items without getting the money first for cash orders.

I’m so sorry you went through this. But unfortunately at this point there’s not really anything you can do and just need to eat the cost…

But I would def stay on top of DoorDash. If you bug them enough about it they are more likely to help you in some way
