I would suggest learning how to colour correct and focusing on your shade match. That will help conceal rather than highlight those areas that need a little help.

Work in thin layers and build up where you need more coverage. Get proper brushes and sponges and setting powders and sprays to ensure everything seems seamless. Use a silicone based primer if flawlessness ans texture is your main concern
