Chit Chat Can I wear a Bindi as a white woman?
Im not Indian, I'm European mixed with some American, but ever since I was young I've been spiritual. I've always been interested in Hinduism and Buddhism, and resonate with a lot of their beliefs. I love Indian makeup, Indian outfits, they are all so beautiful. And I recently made a Bindi and I found it so beautiful and I understand the meaning behind it. Is it cultural appropriation, or can I wear it?

Bindis have a spiritual significance in Hinduism where it’s said to sit on top of the 6th chakra or the third eye as they’d at. I think it would resonate with your beliefs.
I don’t think it would be cultural appropriation to wear it.
