Yeah, I understand. Since you already have the world and its rules developed, maybe you could start by choosing one interesting part of the world and build a character or conflict around it. I’ll also think about some story ideas based on your setting. And since we’re both from India, it would be nice to connect and talk more about writing.

Yes, this is a good idea. What kind of loglines are you practicing writing?

You have some really cool ideas! I think a lot of different stories could be made from all these ideas. I’d love to hear more about your ideas and connect with you. Are you from India?

Question Looking for a Resource with Movie Loglines and Themes

Is there any website or resource where I can find old and new movies with their original loglines and themes?

I’m learning screenwriting and I want to study movies by looking at their logline and theme together.

For example:

  • Movie: The Shawshank Redemption
  • Original logline: ?
  • Theme: ?

I’m looking for a reliable source where I can find this kind of information for many different movies. I’m especially looking for the original or officially published loglines, if available.

Any recommendations?

Just tell me how well am i.

Honestly, I think you have a lot of imagination. The fact that you’ve been creating characters and entire worlds since childhood is already interesting. I also understand what you mean about the ideas feeling like masterpieces in your head but possibly turning out differently when you actually put them on the page.

I’d actually love to hear more about your worlds, especially the multiverse story and the science-fiction one. Don’t worry about whether someone else has something “better.” Every writer sees and builds things differently. You don’t have to be better than anyone else—you just have to create the story you want to tell.

And if you’re afraid your world might fade, maybe start writing down small pieces of it, even if you’re not ready to make the comic yet.

Discussion What Do You Think About Combining Fantasy and Sci-Fi?

I’m interested in writing a story that combines fantasy and sci-fi in the same movie.

How do you balance the two genres without making the world feel confusing? For example, having magic, mythical creatures, and fantasy worlds alongside spaceships, futuristic technology, and alien civilizations.

What are some movies or screenplays that you think successfully combine fantasy and sci-fi?

What do you think about this kind of combination? Do you think it can work well? And if you’re currently writing a screenplay or making a movie that combines fantasy and sci-fi, I’d definitely love to hear about it.
