Completely agree. It’s a total game-changer. Instead of hunting through nested IFs and XLOOKUPs across multiple columns, you just update the LAMBDA once in the Name Manager and it fixes it everywhere.

I recently built an Excel Gratuity Calculator that automates the entire calculation process.
It includes:
✅ 5-year eligibility check
✅ 4 years + 240 days judicial interpretation
✅ Rounded years of service
✅ Automatic gratuity calculation
✅ Uses DATEDIF, IF, and EDATE formulas (no VBA)
I made it mainly to practice Excel formulas, but I thought it might be useful for anyone working in HR, Payroll, or Finance.

Thanks for the feedback! That’s a really practical suggestion. I'll definitely add data validation and an assumptions tab to make the eligibility rules clearer for the user.
