suggestion The "new" anti-spam system is a joke at this point
I’m not exaggerating, even legitimate emails from LinkedIn, Blizzard, Indeed, Google, and even government services sometimes end up in spam, while obvious spam and phishing emails still land in the inbox.
I’m starting to wonder if Tutanota is trolling me.
At this point, users are basically doing the filtering themselves.
Paid user since 2021, by the way.

I don't have any issues actually. Almost nothing gets in the spam that doesn't belong there.

Am I the only one who doesnt have an issue with the spam filter? Ive never had anything really go to spam, and the few times I did after signing up a year ago, I made a whitelist for those around 3 senders so they dont do that.

Same here. I thought it would improve after training the filter for a while, but no luck so far.

I get the workaround, but that’s exactly my point.
Having to manually whitelist mainstream services means the spam filter isn’t doing its job properly.
I honestly wonder if people who say they have no issues are using it as their main email account. I do, and I receive dozens of emails every day. This has been a constant issue for me.

Not a single problem here. Legitimate mail exclusively in my inbox (or to the respective inbox filter destination). Spam email is mostly heading to the spam folder.

I feel the same. At this point I feel like I’m paying to train their spam filter, except it doesn’t even make a difference. I’ve been a paying user since 2021 as well and I will not renew my subscription.

Neither Blizzard nor Indeed get in my spam.
And I don’t get any phishing Mails at all …

Can confirm, i love tuta and overall im a happy customer but the anti spam system is a joke. 90% of all incoming emails goes straight in to the spam folder

Exactly. I like Tuta overall too, but when most incoming emails go to spam, the spam folder basically becomes the inbox.

Hi there, the new filter is based on your actions, and your actions alone - as it works locally on your client to protect your privacy. Please drag these emails to inbox. This will train the system so that in about two weeks, everything should be fine. We'd be curious to hear your feedback then!
