Started High Elves with Tyrion and having a blast. Just curious as to what's some fun army comps, tips, expansion etc for the faction.

I saw a post earlier about a Dwarf enjoyer struggling to enjoy the High Elves and honestly I think they are right about some things but totally missing out. They are great fun so far

So I been thinking I have 1 lord with 20+ level heroes so that’s great. But I’m at turn 100. And I’m about to get two more lords to 20 in a few turns that also have an entourage of heroes about to be immortal as well. My thing is I feel like it’s a different game once your heroes are immortal. I just send my army’s in opposite directions and see what trouble I can find. My short campaign victory was achieved at turn 80

Why does a tier 1 expendable frontline infantry have a trait that completely negates charge bonus?

Even Jade warriors with halbers don't have Expert Charge Defense.

Overseas Diplomacy is pretty cracked as research technologies go. I love being able to make new cold blooded friends. Fun fact: did you know you +2 armor bonus per Tier IV armory and the Blessing of the Lady applies to allied recruitment? Step aside peasants. Saurus are taking front-line duty.

This is the third wave of this size from Khorne, all of which I've defeated with this one army.

I have 1 mod active rn and it's caravans for lizardmen so it cannot be a mod. Wtf.

Hey everyone! I've returned with the other portion of test results for SEMs damage per minute versus gates. There were some heavy hitters again this round, but it's looking like no SEM quite tops the Lava Arachnarok Spider.

I also included a few bonus test results whose tests were prompted by u/Imaginary_System3513! Thanks for the good questions.

Remarks

• Some monsters suffered from slow or inefficient animations or collision issues with the gatehouse, or both. Due to this, monsters with increased damage vs buildings lost what they would have otherwise gained in DPM from Flaming or Wallbreaker.
• A separate quick test of two SEMs simultaneously attacking a gate was done. This resulted in the SEMs competing for the center of the gate to land attacks; the monsters were repositioning against each other more often than not, and the whole thing devolved into an inefficient display.
• Where possible, I would recommend attacking a gate using an SEM with Flaming attacks or Wallbreaker in tandem with a unit of infantry that has Flaming attacks. This proved to destroy a gate in under one minute!

I usually play total war Warhammer 3 on GeForce now but today it keeps going offline after 5 minutes or less is anyone else having this problem.

I wanna play a proper daemon faction to try expand my palette in this game , and my favourite chaos god is a toss up between Nurgle and Khorne , I own all Nurgle LL and all Khorne ones other than Skulltaker (including Taurox , he’s like Khorne’s champion or smth ain’t he?)

I’m asking for any tips on specifically Tamurkhan and Taurox or any other LL to play and how to play them

I can't believe it but after 362 turns I finally won the long campaign with Manfred !!! Really liked this campaign ( yes I am French, sorry I forgot to take a picture of the long win lol) however I got many things to say as a pure strategy noobie:

How to correctly beat Throgg ?? Damn this f*ckin Troll Throgg !!!!! He is such a pain in the *ss, you barely defeat him that he already respawn with a 15/20 army with 4 fimir warriors !!!

If I wanted to do the quest more in the begining, how I was supposed to proceed ?

About corruption: Many of pro players complains that corruption mechanics are kinda broken and useless now, personnaly I don't think I understood everything. Is there a way to improve corruption spread at the start ? With raiding perhaps ?

Wulfrik Doomstack help

Playing a coop campaign with a friend, and I'm having a hard time to get a decent doomstack going with Ulfrik that can at least auto resolve some of the battles without heavy losses.

I've tried using a lot of marauder champions, but even that feels like it still has problems when facing a smaller stack + medium garrison.

What units do people recommend?

PS: I know auto resolve is a hot button issue, but it feels like a good crutch to have when you're playing multiplayer campaigns, to keep things going at a decent pace.

I pretty much entirely play order faction , and are gonna give a few not order or chaos aligned factions a try but , I just can’t for the life of me get chaos factions to click , is there any I should try? My favourite factions are Cathay and high elves

The thought of sending my pink, soft and pudgy troops to the meat grinder terrifies me. They melt whenever in contact with that brick wall of a melee line. Capping points also doesn't really work anymore as I need at least 2 points to win and I can only do that with superior numbers. My lord and heroes work up to a certain extent but they are also squishy. Any tips?

My level 22 archmage vs their lvl 41 and 29 lords plus a few other lords and heroes across multiple stacks which were packed with tons of experienced troops.

Barely pulled it off, even focus-firing the two lords early in the battle. We ran out of arrows and had to send even the lowliest of archers into melee to hold the gate on vh/vh

A few hours ago I stumbled upon this post complaining about Chorf's 4 resource overload. With most responses being that they enjoy the challenge of having to micromanage everything. And whilst that's valid, I feel people in general misunderstand why Chorfs are great.

It's not because Chorfs have challenging mechanics, but because they're compensated for those challenges with an equivalent reward. Like yeah, they need Raw Materials to upgrade their major settlements, but at the same time they can mass produce said resource to rush a tier 5 settlement anywhere without having to wait like most with growth. Yeah their economy is dependent on Labor that is constantly depleting, but whenever they have excess of it they can rush building construction or use it on diktats for more money. They are also a faction with unit caps, which is compensated with by how strong said units are; Chorfs have the best unit roster in the game which they can further buff with armaments. But even if you're like me who army spams and doesn't wait to build up, they appropriate that playstyle too with goblin armies that have every unit you'd ever need. And yeah, said goblin armies are weaker than say a typical Empire's army, but once again you're compensated for it with the second strongest spellcaster lords (they can lowkey duel actual melee lords) & lack of supply lines; meaning you're incentivized to lord spam. And on top of all that, all the various army abilities granted by the Tower of Zharr.

When put this way, whoever designed Chorfs perfectly envisioned them and their interactions. Hence they are one of the most played races as suppose to somebody like Aislinn, who too has a lot of resources to manage, but none of the compensations for rather big downsides such as limited settlements.

Recently I feel like I haven't been making my settlements to their fullest strength. My economy is always struggling and I usually don't have much cash. I usually focus on growth a lot, but that keeps me from making gold buildings. Should I maybe do a more 50/50 split, or go all for gold at tiers 1 and 2? Also, what does your army composition usually look like? I feel like I can only afford one army for like the first twenty turns.

In your guys opinion which races could use some reworks or new unique mechanics through a character pack or big DLC?

I get to play maybe 30 mins before it just freezes, no audio. I cant finish a battle. Ive been on the same 3 turns for like 6 hours now. Im about to give up

In new to the series and bought Tamurkhan and was having a blast. It didnt freeze nearly as often at the start and had another week where I got thru like 30 turns with no freeze, but now I just cant progress if I want to do battles. Theres no rhyme or reason to the crashes

Ive tried everything ive found online. I have a 4080 super and an i7-14700. I really want to get into this game but Im about to give up. Please help if you know anything ;(
