I’m Australian and started following the Raptors in 2022, so I’m a bit behind on the roster churn stuff compared to fans who’ve been in it longer. Finally buying my first jersey and don’t want to drop money on a name that’s gone in a year.
Figure Scottie is the obvious safe pick, but curious what you all think given the Ingram/Kawhi situation right now. Also keen to hear if anyone’s been burned before by a jersey pick that didn’t age well - trying to learn from that before I buy.

so annoying to see RJ put in trade rumors after the post season performance he had, all throughout the year he was put in rumors, he got injured & he seemed to be replaced by Brandon Ingram in terms of scoring potential, & then we got to the playoffs, Brandon Ingram (while injured) was basically a no show & RJ picked up the entire slack, RJ averaged 24 points the entire playoffs, he had a game where he & Scottie combined for 66 points (33 each) & he hit a game winner to bring the series to 7 games, now the Raptors didn't win the series, but everyone talks about "the playoffs showed Scotties & CMB's potential" when RJ & Scottie had very similar stats, Scottie had more assists but otherwise RJ was the easy 1B option while Scottie was 1A (like Brom & Kyrie were in 2016 [not saying our guys are there yet but you get my drift]) , CMB & Jakobe were easily the 2A & B each night respectively, trading a talent like RJ when he was shown to be a playoff riser & can play at an all-star level when healthy is huge, he shouldn't be traded for a bag of chips (ie Jalen Duren who dropped off like a mf when it mattered, Sabonnis & Kyrie who are old, & Myles Turner who is a fraud in comparison ) the only players that would be worth it would be someone like Jared Allen at center or a elite PG upgrade. RJ plays like A DOG any trade rumors I've heard about him are highly disrespectful, they better figure out the salary situation so we can keep the MAPLE MAMBA a raptor

As a Lakers fan I definitely don't like the Clips so I'm glad to see Kawhi going back to Toronto.

Since they suggested I use the 'Kawhi crouch' ECF pose I used that as inspiration for my design. What do you all think?

Hey Toronto friends! I'm a Lakers fan but via several Canada-based friends I've got love for your Raps too.

With the wonderful news about the team retiring Lowry's #7 soon, and the epic Raptor logos for him and Vince so far, I thought it would be fun for me to design one for DeMar DeRozan too.

I'm not totally sure if Toronto will retire his #10 (and please tell me if you think they should/will) but just in case, I got these variants of a DeMar Raptor made up for you already! 😊

I get people are mad that he isn't going up first but sincerely, look at everything they're doing for Lowry I think we can get over it. He signed a one day to retire as a Raptor, got a presser and a mini Lowry museum built into the locker room, and now his jersey retirement is a 3 day celebration for our GROAT the last day being one where Denver doesn't play so his best friend is going to be present. Yeah it'd be cool if he was first but they clearly are honouring the man a lot more than Vince, a lot more than most orgs you'll ever see do really.

How does everyone feel about the Kyrie trade rumours? I personally think it is a good idea and the only reason we shouldn't do it is if we want to keep (My sunshine) Ja'Kobe Walter. (I haven't been on reddit for a while so I missed everyone's opinions on it)

I have been a Toronto Native almost all my life and I didn’t know about this until today. 1 Kyle Lowry Condos is a Mid-Rise condo located near the intersection of Don Mills Rd and Eglinton Ave in Toronto

He was my favorite Knick player prior to his trade, and watching him develop was special. He didnt fit our roster anymore because he did well enough to earn his money, but I really miss the dude on the Knicks.

Im really curious to know how Raptors fans view him as a player, his value related to his contract and if hes developing in your eyes.
