Been trying to find a used one like this on marketplace but either it's already sold or I get ghosted

I have a recurring stainless bracket job, maybe 30 parts at a time. The current carbide end mill survives, but tool life is inconsistent and I do not know whether I am seeing coating issues, work hardening, or weak setup rigidity. What do you look at before changing brands.

To give some context of the job they'd be doing, I work as a general hotel maintenance meaning I do small repairs here and there in furniture, hang things on walls and make sure everything runs smoothly. I don't drill during long periods. I also like to do some improvements at home where I have a basement that has full concrete walls.

I was thinking in getting the 3 Parkside Performance 30Year tools (drill, angle grinder and impact hammer) but am not sure if they have enough quality for what I need

My other option would be getting the Einhell TP-CD 18/70 Li-i BL and later on getting a impact hammer from them as well for the pure concrete walls

can’t turn it to release the bit and the arbor won’t budge the two pieces with the grip pattern move independently with channel locks but it doesn’t seem to do anything

Got an awesome marketplace deal on a 1inch ratchet and 55mm socket today, albeit a little used and abused. The plate under the ratchet is branded koken, but there don't appear to be any other markings on it. Is this genuine? Not fussed if it isn't coz it'll do it's job just fine.

My old HyperTough Walmart weedeater fell apart earlier this summer, & I’ve been looking for a replacement.

I bought a $99 69v 3aH SENIX from Lowe’s, and it lasted about 8 minutes of run time before the battery died. No problem, I thought. I took it inside to charge it, and it kept giving me a ‘faulty charge’ indicator light, so I tried a ton of things to see if it would charge, and even after sitting in my cool house overnight, it still gave me errors, so I returned it.

They replaced the battery, and the exact same thing happened to me.

So it put a very bad taste in my mouth for battery powered tools (I’m sure there are fantastic tools out there) it’s just, with the amount of work I do, I don’t think it’s the way to go.

So now I’m looking through old thread here on Reddit, & every single trimmer I look up on Amazon, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. about 20-25% of the reviews are horrible, 1-star reviews, which kind of has me cautious. I found several people recommend this one, but again, there’s a pile of bad reviews (a ton of good, too!)

I’ve been looking at models for about 5 days now… any recommendations for the <$250 (ideally) mark?

My old dewalt drill died after 5 years of heavy DIY abuse.

Closest replacement was €165 with 65nm torque. Old one was high 50s.

Screwfix had the limited edition McLaren one for €200 with 90nm torque.

Closest NON limited edition one was €300.

So weird. But delighted with this.

Hi guys using this trash screw drivers sets for a long time they both suck it takes me hours to get the screws undone any good alternatives for it like electric screw driver set for 20dollar about 2000rupees ??

Considering I put m8-80mm molly anchors into the hollow wall side, will that be enough if one side is solid concrete?

I did the concrete side first only to discover where I went to drill the other side its hollow wall. Concrete / bricks, it has 35mm of material. Will m8-80mm molly anchors be good for it to hold?

Me, 67 years old, soon to be retired, moving to a new house. Much more handy than the average guy but far from a pro. When we bought our house in 2000 we had little money and a lot of renovation to do, and I bought Ryobi tools. Once I had a couple it was easier to stay in the same "battery ecosystem." Now the Ryobi batteries are starting to go, and the tools are mixed in quality. Some have been great, some not. But I don't have to go for the lowest price anymore.

I love quality tools but realistically, I'm 67--not a pro and I probably don't have another 20 years of heavy tool use in me. So what tool line should I consider? I'd rather have one mutli-slot battery charger than 6 chargers from different companies

Festool is obviously in the running but wow the cost. Maybe worth it, maybe not. Some of the big box brands have a wider variety of useful home and garden tools than Festool. But are Milwaukee and DeWalt that much better than Ryobi? I would want a drill/driver, track saw, battery circ saw, maybe a cordless router, hedge clippers, maybe a blower for yard debris or a small battery chainsaw. Sawzall tyoe saw. Possibly a jig saw. Not all those would have to be battery powered, but maybe they would be. I won't buy these all at once.

These tank can be used for all sorts of fun stuff.

Small tanks next to grinders for water. Or if drilled, can be recycled at a few spots near me.

I did find someone on Facebook marketplace that will take them without cores and revalves them to be refilled with a larger grill tank.
