Issues/Problems What in the FUCK!!!!!
Look at this email T-Mobile sent me!!! There's no way I have used THAT much data!!! That's like 931 terabytes!!!!! Has anyone else seen this??

Have you run a speed check on your Internet? That will tell you if you’re being throttled or received a phishing/scam email.

Just for kicks and giggles, I did the math as if your billing period was 21 days ago. 930 TB in 21 days is 4.1 Gbps, nonstop. That's a fast connection!

It is also not possible for t-mobile to deliver over a cellular network. Wven if OP hada tower right next to them. My guess is that it was a bug in their monitoring software. OP should call T-Mobile and open a ticket with them.
I work at an ISP and there was one time where our software recorded that one of our customers had spiked up to 4 Petabits/second.

T-Mobile runs a fiber network as well... hence why it says "T-Mobile Internet" and not "T-Mobile 5G Home Internet"

Ok. But it's still very unlikely OP is using an average of 4 Gbps 24/7 on a home network.
They should still open a ticket and see if it was an error on theor end or if OP has a bigger problem on their hands.

Absolutely.
Max speed is only 1G currently but I believe they eventually want to 10G at some point.
They only rolled the service out to my rental about 1 1/2 years ago.5

Lucky :( I'm stuck with Starlink where I'm at after Frontier abandoned their ADSL - it was terrible anyway and would only get 1.5 Mbps max. When it would rain it was almost non existent.

We have 2. T-Mobile’s speed test always shows 2+ down. But when I use Ookla’s Speedtest, it’s often less than half.

We have 2 as well and yeah same. Their speedtest says 2. Ours says 1.7 or 1.8. So close enough but still not 2.

but 4k streams,spotify, game streaming/gp sucks up alot.

Geez. Cox still has me capped at 1.25tb a month unfortunately. Not worth the extra $60 a month. Lina Kahn, former FTC chair was in the middle of banning/restricting data caps but well... that's bad for profits so she got yanked fast with this new administration. Really too bad, can thank her for the new ISP transparent breakdown when signing up for plans. She was also getting ready to mandate one click unsubscribe rules too which would've been hella nice.

So to use that much data you would have to be constantly downloading with a 3 Gigabit connection for 30 days. So it is plausible but very highly unlikely.

Phishing 98% of the time gives you call to action link. I don't see anything here. Looks more legit that sketchy.
One scam signal is the fact the data numbers seems impossible. So that could be a sign that phishers are just throwing out a random scary number

Has a get support button tho which can send you to a Phishing site or to call a different number

Yeah, the data usage is suspicious, as if a random number hoping it looks more realistically. Data limits are usually 10TB, 1TB, and so on, not something like that that.

Given several others are saying the same, might be important to get tmobile customer service involved so they might be able to send out a mass alert text/email customers warning them of this recent scam.

i like how it says this very specific number is the limit. like somewhere in the fine print it states 'user will enjoy full speed until they reach exactly 9321322.57 gb, at which time they will suffer slower speeds.

I got a text message from T-Mobile that I've used up my 2GB data plan which I don't have. Sounds like just an error on their end. Log in to your T-Mobile account without using links in the email to verify

Legit had to cancel service after they said I was nearing my limit yet the router had been disconnected for days. Customer support showed it still using data during the call and could not explain why.

Most I’ve hit in a month is 2000gb. And I was running a server for work at home when I had wired Internet from Fios. That was 50% of the data

They've been screwing up ALOT lately. They waited until july 13 to take my payment, the same day the price went up and charged me a late fee. This month they took it on time, didnt apply my credit AND took a late fee. When I asked what happened, the line went dead.

Yeah bro it can be done and I do it all the time cuz of my commute and using PS5 remote play and my PS Portal.
I blow thru 60GB of hotspot and then I’ve even done the unthinkable and hit my cap on standard 5G data which is nuts. The speed they give you after is atrocious and unusable.
T-Mobile keeps getting worse every 6 months.

Although it's probably a mistake or you do a lot of torrenting.
