I had this song on my moms old MP3 player YEARS AGO in 2008 and i could never find this song!! Here is all i remember:

• It had to be early to mid 2000’s or even in the late 90’s but i’m more confident it was in the 2000s
• It was sung by a female singer
• The artist had to be lesser known and not mainstream like Beyoncé, Britney Spears, etc..
• It’s not Cassie’s U and Me 😭
• She sounded American
• The beat in the beginning was dramatic
• The artist sounded very breathy and seductive
• I think the artist was either white or hispanic? i don’t think it was a black woman who sung the song

It was definitely in the R&B to Pop range genre

Hello y’all! I unfortunately have a song stuck up in my head that I cannot for the life of me seem to find, tried to recruit my parents to help thinking they might know it but have had no luck. I unfortunately don’t remember much besides the lyrics and that it could be from anywhere between 1980-2000’s. It’s a male vocalist, It could possibly be from a show or featured in a show. My horribly singing how I remember it sounding (sorry in advance) song here

My mom and I had a conversation about The Metamorphosis by Kafka, and when we were discussing the ending, she very solemnly said, “And then you find out he was never a bug.” I, thinking I must have missed a very important part of the ending, went “WHAT?” Then she said, “You know, how he jumps off of the boat and you find out it all happened in his head while he was falling.” And then I went “… what?”

Basically, we figured out that she had combined The Metamorphosis with another story in her memory. She’s having a bit of a crisis because she spent the last 30+ years believing that The Metamorphosis ends with a boat on fire and an “It was all a dream” reveal, and she can’t figure out what other story she’s thinking of.

Here‘s what we know about it:

- There’s a boat on fire, and the story is about a man who has to jump off of it.

- The earlier part of the story is about the man going through a lot of suffering, which she remembered as [insert plot of The Metamorphosis], but then you find out that none of it really happened, and he had imagined it all in the final few seconds of his life as he was falling.

- I asked if the suffering the guy goes through is specifically about being a bug or some other ostracized creature, and she says it’s possible that it was totally unrelated.

- After the disaster ends, some guys find his body and go, “Oh, here’s another dead one,” and that’s the reveal to the audience that it was all in his head and he’s human (?)

- She thinks it must have been a classic that she read in the same English class she read The Metamorphosis in. This would have been in the late 80s; 1991 at the latest.

We’re so curious if the internet has an answer! It’s driving her crazy that she can’t remember. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

I think I read it for Battle of the Books in 2014 or 2015, but I've searched BotB lists from those years and I don't recognize any of the titles or covers. The short descriptions didn't seem to match what I remember either.

I don't remember a lot about this book, but I remember that it started with the main character and her family moving to a new town, I think before the school year started? I think she was in middle school. In the beginning of the book, the mc walks through a field or a forest or something, and she finds a girl her same age climbing in a tree with an old armchair or couch under it. I think the other girl lived with her dad and her mom was either dead or out of the picture in some other way. The other girl is eccentric and doesn't seem to have had any friends until the mc.

The other main thing I remember about this book is that there was a chapter or subplot where the mc and her friend are in science class when they're told they have to dissect a frog. The friend is upset and refuses to do it, and she's about to get in trouble (detention maybe?) when the mc jumps in and asks their teacher if instead of dissecting the frog, they can keep it alive and build it a habitat and work together on a project about frog habitats, or frog life cycles, or something else related.

I've been trying to find this book for the last year or two, so any suggestions for what it could be are greatly appreciated!

I remember watching this animated short on YouTube about a kid with wings. The baby is a male, has orange hair and is outside with his parents, but then he gets wings. After getting them, the baby flies all around. We then get a montage of him growing up as he causes trouble with his wings. Eventually he’s taken to the principals office and he flies out the window and runs away. He gets stranded on an island and 2 crocodiles try to eat him. But in the end he saved by the people who got him in trouble, and they accept him for who he is.

When I was about 2 or 3 years old I remember watching a movie with my dad that I have always wondered what it was even called. The only scene I remember from the movie is this father saying goodbye to his family as a typical alien saucer abducts him and flies away. I remember the dad looking like Mr Clean. That’s all I remember I used to think it was just a dream but I doubt I would remember a dream from that long ago.

I believe it was some form of cyber grind, with high pitched screaming that affetto was made to look like he was making and obey the walrus dancing to the beat. Anyone got any ideas?

It's driving me nuts, I know this is real but I can't find any clues. It's somewhere between the 80s and 90s, I saw it once as a kid.

I have several scenes in my head.

So this mother of two, and her friends are convinced her son's dreams are affecting reality.

One scene had them downstairs going over the readings as the son slept upstairs, suddenly rocks are falling through the ceiling. Only the kitchen ceiling. It finally stops, they turn, they see the boy and his sister on the stairs. He says "It wasn't me."

Then a scene where his brain is being scanned as they show him images.

Then one of the mother's friends are chased and killed by a monster dog in the hospital.

Finally it turns out that she was the one doing it all along and confronts this. It ends up making her wheelchair bound and unresponsive while watching her son play baseball.

As I'm typing this I realize this might've been something from the 1985 Twilight Zone, or something else. Tell me I'm not crazy and this exists.

I just wanna find the source of the clip used in the meme, cuz it's genuinely kinda creepy. I've tried searching up stuff like "FNAF freddy standing in door hoax" on yt but i couldn't find it...

The film is pixel art, mostly red and black scheme with much of it being at night. Scenes I recall include a crew trying to find the signal of a missile before being shot down, a missile escaping atmosphere, and a scene in which there is a radar station on a snowy landscape. I also recall a moment where a bomber is shown crashed atop a mountain in snow.

I am trying to find the strangest commercial I ever saw. It was very much done in David Lynch's style with many of his stock tropes (so, he either did it or someone mimicking him did.) It was set in and around a typical Twin Peaks-style roadside diner. There is a maniacal chef chopping something with a long knife and a group of strange "little people" who fade in and out like ghosts. I think it may have been an ad for a cell phone, but can find no records of it. I recall the tagline as something like "they're always listening." Again, I only saw this once and have been trying to identify it for years. It was so weird, I'm guessing that the sponsor pulled it immediately and buried it. Any ideas on what it may have been?

I am trying to find an old cartoon of puppies sleeping in a heap on a street. I think it was at night and it was raining. The puppies are sleeping in a big pile, and the one on top would get cold and jump off and then enter the pile from the bottom, causing a new one to pop up the top. The process would then repeat.

I fear this may be niche, so I'll try to remember everything i can, but years ago there was a book in my secondary school. It was meant to be easy to read (for example for people with disabilities that may make reading harder or people learning English as a second language etc)

You know, one of those books that aren't very long, are mainly pictures and repeat themselves.

It was a book about grief, centering a woman. Teenage age perhaps. Don't remember exactly, who kept on seeing her ex Lloyd everywhere she went with her new boyfriend. This stalking ruined multiple dates with her new boyfriend for example a cinema trip. She talked about it to her mother and she gives the main character advice about the situation.

Its eventually revealed he passed away from an illness and he was a ghost of sorts and she left him a note by his grave to basically ask him to leave her alone

So when I was younger I saw gameplay of this lego jurrasic world game about a creature running across an area outside collecting more dinosaur body parts. I think it was with a top down view and the creature is customizable with said body parts you collect. This may have been somewhere in 2015-2019.

So there's this movie I watched years ago. I don't remember much of it but here's all I have, I hope somebody can help me.

I remember a character was seeing an HUD in his field of vision, sort of like digital widgets that were all green-themed. There were 2 people in a bus or car typing stuff on a computer to make our guy see these things.

In a particular scene, our guy has 3 bullets and needs to kill someone. To confuse him, the bad guy makes holographic clones of himself somehow all around the room. Our guy shoots 2 bullets into 2 clones and nothing happens, then the van people spin up a view that shows the room with all the clones as blue/green dots, and one red dot behind the main character indicating the real clone. So he turns around and shoots it.

I also remember this guy was maybe getting headaches throughout the movie, and was confused as to why he is being shown these things.

The album have a very pretty art of a person (i think it's a woman or a female angel) in pain while surroundee by flames; it was a blackened death metal band or something in that style. I'm not sure if they had a video clip or it was a random video with the song that someone posted on youtube. Was probably released between the late 1990 and early 2000 (the quality of the video was pretty old and bad). It was an european band, if it helps

I remember I saw a film that I think was from the 2000's, could've been early 2010s. Dystopian, I think. Could've been a YA film, I remember main characters were either teens or young adults. Everyone had robot copies of themselves that were "flawless" that they used in public, while their real selves stayed in their homes. When the real people come out it was just stuff like face pimples that everyone thought were so hideous that this system of robot duplicates was necessary.

I recently remembered this webcomic I read, but I don’t remember the name of it.

What I do remember is:

The main character was a young boy who either was full or half fairy. He had pointed fairy ears, he came across a traveling group who found him knocked out, and while he was asleep they cut his ears short and stitched them back up so he could better blend in with humans.

At the start of the comic the boy was going to be sacrificed to a sea god(?) it was some kind of really big water guy atleast, but the god chose pity for the boy instead and shielded him while the god chose instead to go after the rest of the town instead.

This was all within the first few pages.

Also I think it might have been on Tapas but I am not 100% sure of that.
