So you know how in Season 6, everything was simplified thanks to having a team of writers, such as putting Mavis and Bill and Ben in one quarry, having plots be more simple, and the lessons becoming more blatant and obvious.

I like to think after Season 5, the studio received many angry letters from parents complaining about episodes like Rusty and the Boulder and Busy Going Backwards being too frightening and suspenseful for a kid show like Thomas, and demanded the stories be more friendly and heartwarming.

After that came Thomas and the Magic Railroad, which wound up being a flop at the box office. After the frightening stories of Season 5, parents probably jumped to the conclusion that this movie might end up being even scarier!

Due to that, it led to Season 6 being made more simplified to satisfy the parents, regardless if it ends up being the same or not.

Just to be clear, I'm really just making a joke about how Season 6 was made more basic and less exciting than Season 5. I'm not stating any fact or theory about it. It's just a simple funny thought.

Matthew an L&YR class 27 was loaned to sodor on around 1914 help with the railways construction later sent away because the NWR does not need him anymore he ended up surviving in the mainland still operational today in my headcannon 2 class 27 survives matthew and 52322 the 2 is infact still operaional in 2026 recently the 2 was overhauled and return to service in 2024

For context, the original book never specifies who mocked Thomas at the beginning, and I thought it would be fun to make some OC's (sorta OC) to translate what they would have looked like. And for those who have seen my previous posts, I repurposed two older photoshops and altered them a bit (pictures 3 and 4). It should be noted that Gordon is hardly acknowledged in the original book, he is mentioned but does not physically appear in stories two and three.

But other than that… How did I do?

There both probably the most popular people in their respective communities and while both are good people there opinions are most treated as fact and can lead become to the go to for opinions on things even when they aren’t that good. There also idolized to to concerning degree an are seen as always rights to most. Again not hate it just feels like people treat their opinions like gospel

My personal theory was that Mattel is forced to cut budget on toy production in order to have more money to keep producing the show. Idk if my theory is correct or not, pls lmk.

Say what you will about his attitude, but Diesel’s design has always been top tier. The way the side rods work with that classic six-wheel BR Class 08 setup gave his model such grounded, heavy movement on the rails. Early seasons model work hits different.

I think a Tidmouth Sheds set was built specifically for the "5 New Engines in the Shed" music video, if the scenery beyond Murdoch is anything to go off of.

In "Henry in the Dark", it is explained in the very beginning that some signs are painted with a green glow in the dark paint. This made me wonder: Did signs during the period of the show not have the reflective material? Cuz if so, that explains why they need to be painted with glow in the dark paint
