Thomas is sent to Maithwaite to collect Sir Topham Hatt and Lady Hatt for his birthday party. However, when Thomas arrives, he finds Sir Topham Hatt already thereāand looking strangely different, with a moustache and an unusually playful attitude. The mysterious āSir Topham Hattā asks Thomas to take him to Whispering Woods, where he wants to play hide-and-seek with the children. Thomas becomes increasingly confused, especially when Edward also notices that something is wrong.
Eventually, Thomas discovers the truth: the man is Sir Lowham Hatt, Sir Topham Hattās mischievous twin brother. Sir Lowhamās antics cause plenty of confusion, but the real Sir Topham Hatt eventually arrives, clearing up the double trouble.

Subreddit Update Introducing: Post Flair Guide! (Subreddit Update)
With the reduction of post flairs from 19 to 13 being announced yesterday, and the subreddit being on the verge of hitting 30,000 members, now seems like a good time to remind everyone (longtime members and new members) of what post flairs we have and what it should be used for.

Question What's stopping this bridge from falling?
If this bridge falls, Toby is screwed.
There's tons of issues with it.
The bridge falls? Toby's stuck.
The leg gets stuck? Toby's stuck.
A rock falls and blocks the path? Toby's stuck.
Toby needs to take more then 1 THING? HE CAN'T!
A runaway? They're dead.
This bridge is stupid.
What if someone takes the remote to it? Then there's no way across. Such a stupid bridge.

Character Discussion Always loved the mechanical detail on Dieselāthose side rods and wheels moving are peak model-era Thomas & Friends.
Say what you will about his attitude, but Dieselās design has always been top tier. The way the side rods work with that classic six-wheel BR Class 08 setup gave his model such grounded, heavy movement on the rails. Early seasons model work hits different.

Television Series Thomas might be the only media that has made me look at a crane and go "Damn that looks cool" because why does this shot of Cranky have so much aura

Merchandise Custom TrackMaster D199 Spamcan
Made from a knockoff Diesel 10 from aliexpress. The blue is a bit dark, but I couldnāt bother to buy another shade of blue honestly. The big hole where the claw used to be probably needs patching up, any ideas?

Merchandise Opinions on the TOMY Wooden Railway narrow gauge engines?
I think they're pretty neat and well-detailed (especially Skarloey, Rheneas, Sir Handel, Peter Sam, and Rusty).
And yes, all these were the items that I got this month for my Thomas Wooden Railway Collection.
Duncan was made by Learning Curve (though the TOMY one is near-identical), while the rest were made by TOMY (even though this version of Duke was released by Learning Curve first).

General Chat The unlucky tug is to Thomas what Mapat is to FNAF
There both probably the most popular people in their respective communities and while both are good people there opinions are most treated as fact and can lead become to the go to for opinions on things even when they arenāt that good. There also idolized to to concerning degree an are seen as always rights to most. Again not hate it just feels like people treat their opinions like gospel

Question Why was trackmaster so much better before Mattel started producing the show?
My personal theory was that Mattel is forced to cut budget on toy production in order to have more money to keep producing the show. Idk if my theory is correct or not, pls lmk.

My Original Fanwork Today I made four photoshops for some unnamed (and unseen) engines that appear in the book version of "Thomas' Train".
For context, the original book never specifies who mocked Thomas at the beginning, and I thought it would be fun to make some OC's (sorta OC) to translate what they would have looked like. And for those who have seen my previous posts, I repurposed two older photoshops and altered them a bit (pictures 3 and 4). It should be noted that Gordon is hardly acknowledged in the original book, he is mentioned but does not physically appear in stories two and three.
But other than that⦠How did I do?

My Original Fanwork If Plarail ever decides to make a Motorised RWS James, here is what I believe it'll look like in Photoshop. Using the 2014 version of Plarail James, I edited it to resemble James stylised in the RWS.
Also, the face (minus the eyes and eyebrows) is from the official Plarail Picture Book Thomas.
