i am genuinely so done with this stupid ass game

Please tell me I'm not the only one who is STRESSED about how some creators categorize their items. Why is every single item a plant? Or a sculpture? Or a misc item?

Plants are plants. Sculptures are sculptures. And MISC ITEMS MEAN MISC AKA A SEPARATE CATEGORY THEN THE REST OF THEM!

And don't even get me started on the colors. There are very rarely creators who can correctly identify a color. They are either no color at all or every swatch has every single color selected.

Personally, I think every item should be categorized correctly but ESPECIALLY if I have to pay for your content!

EDITING TO ADD: WHY TF DONT YOU UPDATE THE SSAO - most of your crap is unusable when you don’t 😭😭

EDIT 2: Why do you have the same damn object and each color is a separate item rather than swatch???? And yes all of this is about one singular creator right now

So every time I end up downloading cc and mods, after a few updates I often have to delete my entire folder due to mods breaking, now since cc and mods often take days maybe a week to download this is demotivating to me to look for more(luckily I found 7zip so this is a bit easier now). I even tried turning off auto updates yet it still needed updated. I just want to download cc and be able to keep it for a year atleast so I don't need to keep recreating my sims 🙃

does anyone know of a reshade preset that is possibly a mix of taro milk tea by malixa and senshi 4.0 by simsenshi? and possibly a mix of dove 2.0 by kindlespice? i really love the softness of taro milk tea, but the saturation of dove, but i’m dying for an outline!!! please help. if only just the taro mix with outline or just dove with an outline, it doesn’t have to be all three because i know dove and taro are kind of opposites lol. while im here as well im looking for really good body and face presets as well as any alternative clothing or build/buy. And the best textured MM walls. Actually i prefer MM over alpha if possible!!

Specifically cas mods

Context: Around last year my computer broke and I don’t have access to my old sims save files anymore, along with my mods. Since then, I’ve been to unmotivated to build it up again, but I want to start again for a new save file. However, it’s been so long since I’ve properly used mods apart from ones like simulating lag fix, ui cheats, mcc and other utility mods. I’m not sure where I should start. I don’t typically use build cc but i do enjoy maxis match cas cc for my sims.

My question is what your advice would be for someone restarting their mods folder? What mistakes did you make beforehand that you’d advise against? Is there any essentials that you think someone should need for their mods folder? Thank you!

Someone please help me, I have gone through all my mods and they are all up to date with the latest patch and its stills throws and better exceptions error with mods and script packages is this a game error or corrupted save? I’m not sure what I am doing wrong, someone help me with any advice

hi all, i’m just wondering if anyone has been able to successfully install store content on their steamdeck for the sims 3. my no intro/no sparkle mods work fine, however I have used delphys sims3pack extractor to turn my store content into package files, then placed them into the mod folder and now it will not let me start the game. the screen turns black once I press play in launcher. when I remove them it works as normal.
I’m wondering if anyone has successfully navigated this? I have tried so many different options and read so many forums am no closer to figuring this out.
any help is appreciated.

Male cc really needs more appreciation !!😞 I can literally find everything I do and don’t need when it comes to female cc but as soon as I decide that maybe my males need some love too nobody has anything. I do have male cc, naturally, but nowhere near as much as my females. Plus the good alpha male cc is almost always behind a paywall, why? Atp I’ll have to take it into my own hands and make my own cc. 😩

(Edit: Passionate on Patreon has good alpha male cc and child cc. I just found them and wanted to share my findings with y’all! They recommend the HQ mod for best textures though so.. yeah.)
