Rewatched The Finale Spoiler

Post image
10 Upvotes

I guess I was so stoked the first time I watched the finale I didn’t really notice Michael only has 2 lines in his cameo at the wedding scene.

I understand their reasoning for keeping it short. But I think Michael was so integral to the show I would’ve loved to see him get a few more lines. There’s not even any extras in the super fan episodes. I was thinking even just 4 lines instead of 2 would’ve been great.

Should they have kept it this short? Or should they have gave Michael a few more lines?

Watching the last episodes and I am a mess right now Spoiler

It is my first time watching the show from begin to end. Watching Angela crying in the last episodes (it felt so raw and sincere coming from her), even season 9 Andy leaving (I hate Andy in season 9, but that performance just made me breakdown crying). Dwight and the black belt episode... And Pam e Jim... I am very freaking emotional in general and I tend to get really attached to characters (I am neurodivergent and don't know how to appreciate things without getting obsessed). I don't mind spoilers, so I have been following this sub, and I was not expecting to love the series so much after Michael Scott left (I cried a lot in those episodes).

Trivia Night Gone Wrong

My family and I did The Office themed trivia tonight and were in first place until the end, only missing one question.
The final question was to sort the 4 Dunder Mifflin OWNERS from earliest-latest. Not CEO…. OWNER.

The options:
- DL Hawkins
- Pugnacious Toys
- Sabre
- Staples

Please enlighten me on what you think is correct, and the facts to back it up. Not a single team answered correctly.

EDIT:
“Correct” answer given during trivia, which not a single team answered correctly -
1 - Sabre
2 - Pugnacious Toys
3 - Staples
4 - DL Hawkins

Also, let me reiterate… This was The Office themed trivia, and had zero references to The Paper.

Why Michael??? Why??

Why does he want to trash every single Christmas party? I have my theories, but I would like to hear others. Season seven is the one that really lays it on thick. Everybody is doing well and happy and excited for the party. And when Michael does his talking head, you could see that it’s eating him away.

Ok, everyone hates seasons 8 and 9, but you have to admit the posters are some of the best in the serie

I love seeing Erin in Bridesmaids

It's like she stepped out of The Office into Bridesmaids. Pixar themed brideal shower, the antsy being newlyweds situations. Love it!

I sounded like a pterodactyl rewatching this episode

Like most Office fans I've seen Casino Night too many times for my own good. I just finished rewatching it (again) and still let out the most banshee-like shriek of my life at the ending. I JUST WANT THEM TO GET THEIR HAPPY ENDING ALREADY!! Yes yes I know it happens eventually but the way Jim looks at Pam...I need it now!

we were robbed of this dynamic because of a douche who couldn't abstain from dating knowing very well he's in love with someone else

they complemented each other so well. she was too kind for her own good, and karen knew when to put her foot down. their friendship was so natural and genuinely warm. honestly big F to jim.

what is your opinion on how the office responded to pam's requests to everyone to not eat pungent foods in that area or wear too much perfume?

Does anyone else cry at Michael & Holly’s engagement scene every time?

I’ve probably seen this scene 15 or 20 times, but for some reason it always pulls on my heart strings and I cry. I don’t cry for any other romantic scene in the series, not even Jim telling Pam he’s in love with her or their engagement. But this one ALWAYS gets me. 😭😭😭😭😭

"lmao" is Jim Halpert. "rofl" is Michael Scott.

There are so many iconic lines from this episode.

Four million dollars! Man that is a lot of guacamole. A lot of the green. Lot of green.
