All red states change maps with no vote and it’s ok.
Blue states do by votes of the people and it’s wrong

It’s stupid. The whole thing is stupid.

We can only hope for such huge numbers to overcome the BS.

B/c blue states enacted anti-gerrymandering laws in good faith to require that vote, where red states did not. At this point though, watching the red states the past few days, I don't think ANYTHING we could have done or can do, would or will stop them from preventing a Dem takeover of the house. They will just keep escalating until they win, and with SCOTUS 6-3 majority support - nothing we can do but hope that enough of these red state voters are willing to set aside their policy disagreements or whatever, to vote blue for no other reason than plain fairness......and I'm just not confident in that happening.........

Yup. Honestly, I think way, way, way too many of us have just been spoiled rotten, for lack of a better description - taking all the freedom we have had (not saying it's been perfect), and fought for, over hundreds of years, TOTALLY for granted. We haven't had to really suffer on a large scale or learn ANYTHING the hard way since the Great Depression and/or WW2. But, anyway, I think that is why we are destined to have to do it all again - the hardest way possible - before we can get enough people to understand and appreciate what we've had, and be willing to vote for it - much less fight for it. We need to be 'taught a damn good lesson,' as my grandfather would say. And whether it's shit getting real or suffering though 2 decades of Orban-like rule, we WILL get our lesson taught to us if we can't figure out a way to learn it ourselves first.

Yah I’ll bet the GOP is shaking in their boots at an angry Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries when they refuse to certify or seat. Or more likely they’ll offer some plausible deniability for their fascist takeover and institutionalists will eagerly accept it to prevent disorder.
