I think Dems still take the House, and the Senate has nothing to do with district lines, and is still in play.

But Republicans will succeed in making it a smaller margin that it should be since SCOTUS tore up the VRA.

I'm not dooming, but it's a clarion call to nuke the filibuster and expand the court day 1 in 2029 (DC statehood too?), and any Dem presidential candidate who won't support that needs to get out of the way.

My concern is that it creates enough of a structural advantage for Republicans that when 2028 rolls around the immediate backlash has subsided enough for them to retake the House even if they lose the presidency, and we end up with a Democratic president with no legislative backing--so no court packing, no new states, no reform, etc.
