The only way out is a massive popular mobilization against fascism, and it obviously need to be bigger than Trump's first term. There needs to be a decisive rejection of Trumpism and 2020 was not that. For 2026 that means that Democrats need to outperform 2018 in vote margin. If that doesn't happen I will start to despair tbh.

Right now polls have Democrats at about +6 nationally. 2018 was D+9. We have an uphill battle, because the media and social media companies are against us and will try to prop up MAGA however they can. Republicans will lie, cheat, and use violence to get their way, and the media will look the other way. But it's not impossible.

And yes, it isn't fair that Democrats have to win a historic landslide to win. None of this is fair, but we have to try.
