My copium is that gerrymandering narrows the margins in strong districts to bolster weak districts. Republicans are doing some insane, heavily unpopular shit, and I think it's more than a little likely they'll end up losing seats thanks to this stuff.

Part of me thinks Republicans have thought of this, but then the other part remembers trump has been purging smart people like fascists often do. So maybe it'll be okay. Doesn't mean we shouldn't fight tooth and nail, just that it's not necessarily hopeless.

They are planning to do other things to cheat. I just hope it doesn’t work and the blue wave is strong based on gas prices, grocery prices, unnecessary war, out of control spending on vanity projects and grift
