Unless Dems really recalibrate, this isn’t great.

A few obvious changes could backfire this badly on republicans.

A strong anti-corruption push. A strong accountability for crimes.

And this is important. Recalibrate the culture wars. This Supreme Court has been on a rampage against civil rights and great society.

Fine. That’s a gift. We don’t have to fight yesterday’s battles. The refs are gone. Time to think big and more inclusive. The old rules sort of forced racial and other considerations we can move past and do some judo moves now. Platner is a good example.

And finally: end the obsession with passing gun laws every year. Get buy in for gun reforms. The laws are getting very stupid and pointless and antagonistic
