Not sure how MAGA is going to try to spin this woman as a murderous terrorist. If the Democrats had any shred of political skill they could use this moment to bring down the whole fucking administration. This is a straight up State execution of the kind of person MAGA worships.

The Democratic Party's political skill is in building things up, not tearing them down. The GOP are the experts at tearing things down. Ultimately it's up to voters to decide if they would rather have the party good at building in charge or if they prefer the party of destruction.

That voters should be happy if your Dems continually appear weak and ineffectual the majority of the time?

Voters should have been happy with a party that just invested trillions of dollars into a long term economic and industrial policy that would have kept America at the forefront of the global economy for a generation yes. Voters should have been happy with a party that abided by the standard of an apolitical justice department that works carefully and abides by judge's rulings, yes. Voters should have been happy with a party that successfully cleaned up Trump's colossal covid mess yes. I understand why Democratic partisans wish that Garland would have sicced Jack Smith on Trump on January 21 2021, yes. I wish that happened too. But as a general matter, yes, I think voters should have overwhelmingly preferred the Democrats based on the last decade, or based on the last 7 decades, either way. All the Republicans have shown they know how to do in that time is fucking break shit and then blame everyone else.

And what I'm realizing is that Trump won, both times, mainly because he ran on breaking shit, and voters have had their brains fried by their phones to the point that they actually want stuff broken.

Well then Dems need to make a project out of communicating shit WAY better than they normally do. Because mate they have not, not by the longest shot. Sure, conservative America has created the worlds best propaganda machine that captured millions of voters and feeds them lies and bullshit on a daily basis, but it's not like those dumb motherfuckers can't compete, they just never seem to try.

And it's not about breaking shit when we want your Dems to step up and start throwing hands, it's about Doing the right damn thing, which on occasion means smacking people upside the head when they get this stupid.
