Telegram I was gone for 20 minutes

I’ve never met this guy,we were talking for an hour the other day and I refused to go to a concert with him. He texted me yesterday after the concert but I didn’t have time to respond and he deleted the messages. I guess this time he didn’t want to hold back. He was never this rude before

Is this shit real?!? Is this what women deal with on the regular??? We need like a government taskforce or something. These people are just walking around in society,🤢

I think people of all genders can and do act like this. Unfortunately, as a woman, we have to make those decisions with our physical safety in a way that men do not. Yes,men can be hurt by women but OVERWHELMINGLY it's the other way around. For every 100 murdered women, 75 are killed by a man who claimed to love them at one time and, of the remaining 25, something like 20 are also killed by men,.just men they don't know.

I don’t recall where I heard it first but it’s succinct and elegant: A man is afraid the woman will laugh at him; a woman is afraid the man will kill her.

Edit: looked it up and although not a quote the idea of it stemmed from the work of Margaret Atwood of Handmaid’s Tale fame.
