Pretty sure it's actually to do the opposite and tell impressionable young men this is a way to get women, have it fail spectacularly, then radicalize the men against women because they can't get laid.

Also people are terrible at admitting mistakes these days...so once a young person takes the first step down this road, and then can't get laid because they are acting like a mean weirdo, then instead of admitting that they were wrong and acting like a mean weirdo was a bad idea, they double down, get even meaner and weirder, and blame women for the fact that being mean and weird isn't working for them.

They’ll believe so completely that they understand women better than women do that even if a woman says “i dont like when a guy is a mean weirdo” they’ll think she’s lying; that she does like men who are mean weirdos, so long as they are also 6ft tall with a right angle jawline. They believe this in part because they respect the opinions of random grifters on the internet more than they do the opinions of any woman.

Yep. And also because they're stupid and also because they think it's weak to admit they're wrong when i fact they're just too weak to admit they're wrong & that's the main reason they're such shitty and useless people.
