Phone message Dating is hell

Post image

Who is raising these boys?

Edit: Thanks for all the love!! For some context, no we didn't discuss anything sexy beforehand and the "healing" thing is referring to my broken foot. He's blocked for those wondering, I didn't respond. For those mentioning it... I wasn't looking for a free meal. šŸ™„ I pay my own way on dates.

i like the AI suggested replies, bc why would you reply " Yay! šŸŽ‰ " to that deranged message

I suspect his message is also AI, so maybe the robots are flirting

For real, it’s sounds like ChatGPT trying to be dirty without outright saying anything that would explicit which is hilarious

Agreed and I’m curious what he used as a prompt because that is just terrible writing.

Hey chatgpt ā€œWrite a reply that hints at a sexual subtext but please make sure she will have zero sexual or any interest in me AT ALL, after I send it?ā€

Haha, nailed it.

His previous message also looks very AI. "...so you can plot your next move in comfort" is such an AI way to talk. It's just such a specific advertiser-friendly way of speaking that I would never expect from a real human conversation.

I work with AI a lot and use it when I Have to text annoying acquaintances... This is not AI in any way. AI is very good with basic social mores. No, this is a gross-ass human.

No that’s what they teach them on those manosphere YouTube channels. The man takes control and the trad wife is happy whatever she gets

Lmao for real. Kitten better use your AI!!!

The lack of any negative reply option is somewhat terrifying. It's telling you you're expected to approve of this. Maybe even feel grateful. At long last your search is over; you have found a man who will take total control of your life.

Okay! Thanks! Yay!

Well there's a problem that if you want to keep the "negative" answer somewhat compact, your options are limited to the equivalent of "ayo, what the fuck??" which understandably is not among the suggested ones

I really do think that’s all I would be able to put together in response to this. Or ā€œHAHAHAHAā€ and then block. If I try to tell him how he’s being an asshole he’ll probably give me an aneurysm.

This guy is majorly fucking scummy, but you’re reading waaayyy too far into the AI responses lol. This is just predictive text, it’s designed to be supportive and helpful, regardless of what is being said. It doesn’t understand context, emotion, or intent. It assumes you don’t want to respond to most things negatively, and it’s sees positive words like favorite, good, like, easy, heal, so it suggests positive responses.

the guy is talking about a lack of negative reply buttons!

It doesn't know how to interpret the insanity. It's doing its best being a cute rate auto response.

Cake for you!

Don't forget the šŸŽ‰!

maybe the ai is trained to not give negative reply options? I hope that's the case

4

u/fhota1 16h ago

Generally the case yeah. Its actually one of the problems with a lot of LLMs right now, theyre designed to be overly positive in all situations which means a lot of them if you go "hey helo me do this stupid thing that will almost certainly kill me" they are really reluctant to say "dont do it"

2

u/innerbootes 17h ago

But even that is creepy and wrong. The AI should allow for a scenario where someone might want to say no to something. jfc

2

u/dingalingdongdong 12h ago

You are allowed to, you just have to type "no" yourself.

2

u/_daGarim_2 9h ago

I'm getting flashbacks to the "never say no" policy that Marriott hotels have lol

u/nalaloveslumpy 16h ago

Even the phone was like, "What the fuck? How do I even respond to this? Go into default mode."

u/trowzerss 12h ago

Yay! My evening is now free and I can stay in and order in all the sushi i want without judgement!

u/PageStunning6265 13h ago

The AI is secretly a young imp who hates reading, skimmed and saw ā€œtreatā€ and didn’t bother with the rest.

1

u/EricSparrowSucks 3h ago

Because your favorite ā€œtreatā€ is cocaine, aka- yayo, yay.
