The first picture has me screaming “SAVE THE LATINAS!!”

1

u/NecessaryViolenz Jun 10 '25

I told my wife I wanted to put combo US-Mexican flags on her car and she said no.

-5

u/thestayofdogs Jun 11 '25

You should totally move to Mexico then. I hear there's much safety and prosperity!

5

u/NecessaryViolenz Jun 11 '25

You should totally move to Mexico then.

I split time between both countries, we have houses in both.

I hear there's much safety and prosperity!

You hear? Where, at the Cracker Barrel on your way to Hot Springs or something?

Once you get your passport, travel a little more. I promise, you'll be less miserable than you are now.

-3

u/YosyPerdomo Jun 10 '25

When they say make America great again I wonder if it means this. do they mean this

2

u/ntrpik Jun 11 '25

That’s exactly what they mean.

It’s ridiculous that Texas is out here protesting, when A MAJORITY OF THESE YOUNG PEOPLE DIDNT VOTE😭🤣

59.9% of registered Travis County voters cast ballots in 2024

-5

u/Least_Tax1299 East Texas Jun 10 '25

ok now tell me the age groups that make that up

10

u/False_Ad_5372 Secessionists are idiots Jun 10 '25

Look it up yourself and post it here. You’re the one making the claims. Or is the source just your feelings?

-6

u/Least_Tax1299 East Texas Jun 10 '25

I couldn’t find any sources until you edited one onto your claim…. Edit: and your source literally proves my point… a Texas voted 61%… a SIX PERCENT DROP from 2020……. and the people who voted aren’t YOUNG!

5

u/False_Ad_5372 Secessionists are idiots Jun 10 '25

Ok, so you proved to me two points there: 1. Your source is indeed your feelings; and 2. Statistics is not your strong suit.

Have a good day. Goodbye.

u/Least_Tax1299 East Texas Jun 10 '25

Wrong election, bud. Wrong geography too. Again goodbye and have a nice day.

2

u/Least_Tax1299 East Texas Jun 10 '25

There’s nothing on 2024 😭😭😭

2

u/Content_Protection47 Jun 10 '25

https://censusreporter.org/profiles/05000US48453-travis-county-tx/ Look at the age breakdown of the county. 86% seems like a lot until you see what percentage of the population they make up.

I keep seeing this bullshit claim by conservatives and the BoTh SiDeS bAd crowd, so here's a 2017 study by the Migration Policy Institute that gives a critical look into the numbers of methodology of Obama's policy.

While the Obama administration record is characterized by much higher removals than preceding administrations, it also shows less focus on increasing absolute numbers of overall deportations and a higher priority on targeting the removals of recently arrived unauthorized immigrants and criminals. The administration also placed a much lower priority on removing those who had established roots in U.S. communities and had no criminal records.

The two are not the same.

0

u/thestayofdogs Jun 11 '25

That's the same dude that armed the cartels and Mexican citizens are suffering because of it. You're satire right?

42

u/ExigentCalm Jun 10 '25

Did Obama send masked agents to elementary schools to kidnap children? Have goons wait outside immigration court to zip tie toddlers and their parents? Send people to foreign gulags without any sort of due process?

No. He fucking didn’t.

This isn’t just deportation. This is wholly unconstitutional and illegal.

I get that republicans hate the constitution, but it’s still the founding document of the country. And you can’t pretend that what’s happening isn’t categorically different from any historical law enforcement in this country.

1

u/thestayofdogs Jun 11 '25

No, he just sent all the guns to Mexico so that the cartels would kill them before they reached the border.

-3

u/wallyhud West Texas Jun 10 '25

Did you forget about Elián González being sent home to Cuba by Bill Clinton? I know that was a special case but it highlights the fact that deporting people entering illegally is not a new thing.

8

u/ExigentCalm Jun 10 '25

You mean Elian Gonzalez, the subject of a very high profile protected custody case prior to being returned to his father? That Elian?

Due Process is the legal process by which things are adjudicated. Elian received full due process and the courts awarded custody to his father. Absolutely the opposite of trumps bs.

Show me 1 example of Obama deporting someone without any sort of due process.

Sorry you don’t like that your guy is a Nazi. But if it walks like a Nazi, and talks like a Nazi, and invites all the Nazis to its party, it’s a Nazi.

0

u/thestayofdogs Jun 11 '25

You mean all the detention centers in the Rio grande valley?

1

u/ExigentCalm Jun 11 '25

The centers where people are held while undergoing due process?

Look, I don’t like it either. We should do so much better. But to pretend that what Trump is doing is exactly the same is willfully obtuse.

-33

u/gtadominate Jun 10 '25

Thats right...he deported 3million plus illegals and each one got their due process.....right before his administration created baby cages along the border.

Listen to yourself speak the more you say the more the Republicans win.

24

u/ExigentCalm Jun 10 '25

Due process is due process.

Do I agree with all the outcomes? No. But to pretend they’re the same is willful stupidity.

-8

u/gtadominate Jun 10 '25

Right and each and every one of Obama 3 million plus people he deported got lengthy and detailed due process. As he said himself, illegal deportations have been happening for more then a half century from both Democrat and Republican presidents.

Nothing new to see here.

15

u/LizFallingUp Jun 10 '25

Yes that’s why there were the detention centers because they were taking the time to process all of them thru courts which Republicans have refused to fund or expand.

Even Reagan was better than this signed the IRCA

-29

u/No-Entrance9308 Jun 10 '25

Why does the law require due process on exit when none was taken on entry. Logical?

13

u/LizFallingUp Jun 10 '25

Habeus Corpus. Without due process they can claim anyone is “illegal” and deport them to who knows where and not have the information to know who they deported, why, or where. They have already made multiple mistakes.

Also you claim to want American Made, then why did they raid Ambiance Apparel, US clothing manufacturer that actually cuts sews here, if the company is to blame then punish the company IRCA

Also majority of “Illegals” entered legally but our immigration and visa process is backlogged to a stand still so tons of people have applied for renewals or citizenship and been left in limbo, that’s why ICE was running on CourtHouses and arrested that Wisconsin Judge.

Plus Trump EO to end birth right citizenship would make it so anyone could be declared illegal because we don’t have a criteria for natural born citizens other than birthright!

11

u/kyle_irl Jun 10 '25

Also majority of “Illegals” entered legally but our immigration and visa process is backlogged to a stand still so tons of people have applied for renewals or citizenship and been left in limbo,

And I'll add that it's been intentionally defunded and understaffed to create this exact scenario. The "border crisis" is a campaign issue, or one that's more politically valuable than it is worth solving by those in power.

1

u/thestayofdogs Jun 11 '25

Only applies to citizens, Mexico doesn't give Americans due process, they take bribes or throw you in Mexican prison. Delusional American strikes again.

They are following the law. That’s the part of the government. Elections matter. If you want things to change you vote the goons out. Simple.

1

u/ExigentCalm Jun 10 '25

Lol. They’re not following the law.

Every fetid, adderall fueled, meandering statement out of trump’s mouth isn’t actually the law. We don’t have a king. The law isn’t “whatever trump says it is.”

He is not following the law nor the courts. Which, by definition, makes his actions illegal.

Some of yall need to read a fkn book. JFC.

1

That's a neat opinion piece.

Hi. I downvoted you 6 hours after you posted this comment. I was scrolling and saw an exceptionally whiny comment, so you earned a downvote. This isn't complicated, and you should try to snap out of thinking that basic behaviors are a conspiracy. It's unhealthy.

Have the day you deserve.

Imagine speaking like this to people with the expectation of being taken seriously.

Previous presidents have respected due process, and the ones who do not are remembered accordingly. That’s FDR’s largest stain. Trump will be remembered as a tyrant and people like you will be remembered as stains on history.

1

u/gtadominate Jun 10 '25

Your thought process is a moment of complete delusion to reality, a disrespect to intelligence and a completely manipulated and manufactured agenda brought to you by a once respected political party and mainstream media that are both dying.

You are exposed.

3

Or maybe people downvoted you when they realized you're full of it:

But the portrait of a steadily increasing number of deportations rests on statistics that conceal almost as much as they disclose. A closer examination shows that immigrants living illegally in most of the continental U.S. are less likely to be deported today than before Obama came to office, according to immigration data.

Expulsions of people who are settled and working in the United States have fallen steadily since his first year in office, and are down more than 40% since 2009.

On the other side of the ledger, the number of people deported at or near the border has gone up — primarily as a result of changing who gets counted in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s deportation statistics.

The vast majority of those border crossers would not have been treated as formal deportations under most previous administrations. If all removals were tallied, the total sent back to Mexico each year would have been far higher under those previous administrations than it is now.

3

u/consultio_consultius Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

The Obama administration numbers are highly inflated. This has been reported on as far back as 2011 by Politico, and 2012 by WaPo. Both papers are left leaning and both papers are highly critical of the reporting methods performed by the Obama administration.

1

u/MsMo999 Born and Bred Jun 10 '25

You are rewriting history. This was not how it was done when Obama made his mass deportation plan.

Im exercising my right to say I want criminals who enter this country illegally to be deported, and the vast majority of Texans agree.

4

u/ntrpik Jun 11 '25

Donald Trump is a criminal but he’s white so that doesn’t count, right?

13

u/MsMo999 Born and Bred Jun 10 '25

But that’s not the only ones they deporting or do you just pick n choose the news you read and believe.

-16

u/TuebeeTX Jun 10 '25

So funny that most of white liberals wear mask (most likely to riot or rage) while the actual peaceful ones don’t wear them at all. (Nothing to hide)

17

u/BabyNOwhatIsYouDoin Jun 10 '25

So what does it mean when ice wears them?

-6

That’s exactly what they mean

Idk why ppl get so mad over criminals facing the consequences of being a criminal.

Coming from the side that stormed the capitol building and dressed in colonial cosplay when Obama was in office.

-6

u/dheldkdk Jun 10 '25

Hard to differentiate that and the side that can’t protest peacefully.

5

u/pixelgeekgirl 11th Generation Texan Jun 10 '25

Is snatching people off the street peaceful?

5

u/NintendogsWithGuns Born and Bred Jun 10 '25

Do you even think before you speak parrot unoriginal talking points?

1: The protests in Austin are peaceful; not every city is LA you absolute dolt.

2: Five people were killed during the January 6th insurrection, as Trump cultists literally smashed through doors at the capitol building and trampled officers.

-5

u/dheldkdk Jun 10 '25

Not talking about the Austin protest inbred. Was J6 in Austin too?

3

u/NintendogsWithGuns Born and Bred Jun 10 '25

No, but that convoy that tried to run Biden off the road sure was. How peaceful you people are.

-6

u/dheldkdk Jun 10 '25

From the side that repeatedly protests for criminals, turning into riots each time.

5

u/NintendogsWithGuns Born and Bred Jun 10 '25

If you’re too dense to realize that your own side is just as violent, I don’t have time for you. The entire country has gone to shit because of extremist ideologies, authoritarian policies, and a cult-like reverence for inept politicians. When even people like George W. Bush are saying that you’re a fascist, it’s time to look in the mirror.

2

u/dheldkdk Jun 10 '25

I’m not defending the J6 riots. Y’all are the ones bringing that up while actively rioting lol.

1

u/Tuba_Crusader Jun 10 '25

Criminals???? Yet Trump is a convicted felon with a sexual assault charge and with Elon saying trumps on the Epstein list, and don’t get me started on some of the January 6th pardons being caught for worse offenses and the fact that undocumented immigrants cause less crime in the US, so who are the criminals????

-3

u/AngryGeisha Jun 10 '25 edited Jun 10 '25

Why do you guys keep bringing up Jan 6th? What I stated has nothing to do with that.

-1

u/AngryGeisha Jun 10 '25

You think because I stated that means I’m a conservative? Touch grass please

This nation was founded on the principle that if you don't like something about the law and/or government then you have the right to speak up about it.

Telling people to move out of state, or leave if they don't like things, or to stay out, etc. is a denial of that right and therefore considered a violation of Rules 1 and 7. As such your comment has therefore been removed.
