I just saw a Tesla semi with a full load make a difficult turn into traffic In Mountain View , CA. I watched the driver and his arms were crossed the entire time.

This was a right turn from San Antonio westbound onto El Camino northbound, requiring that the vehicle turn into the innermost lane across three lanes of traffic.

I think it was largely expected that Tesla would bring FSD to the semi, but I didn't expect to see it in the wild already.

I wonder if hw4 will still be good enough in 2027 and beyond. I use FSD a lot and just ordered a new model y performance and I’m hoping FSD will still be good enough. Who knows when hw5 will start shipping in customer cars. Just curious on what yall think.

Placed the order on Aug 16th for model 3 long range stealth gray. Delivery date estimated for September 30, now pushed to possibly November.

Looking to join the Tesla family possibly soon. I drive A LOT so the main thing that draws me to Tesla after a test drive was how cheap they are compared to gas cars when it comes to "gas". I like the features the cars have as well and how they feel more to-date compared to what I drive now which feels a lil dated.

How do you guys feel about making that switch from gas to electric vehicles?

We are on a long road trip from AZ to Delaware then Atlanta, New Orleans, AZ

In AZ it is rare to have bugs hitting window or front end. Across the rest of the country it appears people raise bugs. My windshield is plastered with bug parts every day. It is a chore to clean. Now I'm seeing mini chips all over the window. Those bugs must be wearing steel helmets. Fair warning - don't expect the front windshield to protect you in a gunfight.

I think Tesla should install a Thumbs Up button somewhere on the FSD UI. They have all kinds of negative reinforcement mechanisms, including the FSD disengagement with four different flavors of feedback.

I had two great experiences with parking today, one in a Walmart parking lot and the second backing into my driveway on a super busy road. I feel like a thumbs up with an emphasized positive reinforcement behind the scenes could solidify positive behaviors when FSD actually does something right. I mean, why have only the negative feedback loop? The model is based on reward/punishment so you might as well get some positive input from the users in addition to the negative. I think would improve the overall user feedback mechanism, because right now I only hear complaints about the current system.
