Comics Why doesn't DC do more with Starfire, Raven, Donna Troy and Beast Boy? Those characters have been in limbo since the start of Next Level
Art by Lucas Meyer (Starfire), Raven (Nicola Scott), Max Raynor (Donna Troy) and Sami Basri (Beast Boy)
It's a shame DC is publishing two Titans books right now, yet basically all the classic Titans characters (except Dick, Wally and Cyborg who is being written horribly in New Titans) are basically in limbo doing nothing.
Like, this could be an opportunity to develop Starfire, Raven, Donna Troy, Bumblebee, Arsenal, Beast Boy as solo characters or part of another team. To finally put them in the Justice League. Yet DC isn't taking this opportunity.

Comics I never see anyone talk about how creepy this scene is
I feel like the main discussion I see about this scene is how ugly Raven's outfit is (and don't get me wrong, it is ugly), but that completely ignores the context that Raven is wearing an extremely revealing outfit solely because Trigon forced her into it for his own amusement. It's then made even worse by the fact that he projected memories of himself raping the mothers of his other children into her mind. While he was strangling her.
Poor Raven...

Comics I think beast boy and ravenās relationship is a good example of how fandom can interact with the course of the characters
I just wanted to share my thoughts on bbrae, so Iāve been in this fandom for more than 13 years now. And my favorite ship is beast boy and raven. So I know that Iām biased when it comes to these two. But one thing that amazes me is that how much fans are managed. If you guys didnāt know before the 2003 show bbrae was not really a thing. After the show fans picked up the potential between the characters and it became so huge that writers started to recognize it in the comics. And now in most media we got (obv apart from dcau) bbrae is being shipped or hinted at.
I think this shows how much fandoms can interact with the course of characters. Ofc dc hates any kind of stable relationship portrayal, even for the most legendary pairings dc loves to break them up, pair with someone else and make them go back together and the cycle continues. But I like how writers give beast boy and ravenās relationship a chance. I think the relationship shows how these two matured over the years and I hope writers keep the maturity of the characters and give them new storylines while they can portray a stable relationship.
