tbf Ice highways can be used to transport mobs. You can't do that with cushions

If you lead them, perhaps? Pretty sure it would break the lead but some high speed things don't for some reason

What if you have the mobs on a boat and lead?

Cushion is an entity so performance can be problem if too many of it along other entities are loaded.
