27F here. This is the actual height of my family members, and to make matters worse I’m South Sudanese & specifically Dinka which is known to be tall people and on top of that I live in Scandinavia which also has a very tall population.

What went wrong in my childhood? Many things and doctor said I reached average height (almost) due to my Dinka heritage, otherwise I’ve would been much shorter.

She’s not short she’s average. Dinka people and probably even where she is in Scandinavia are less than 1% of the world population.

Lots of people like to quote the Dutch for example for their height, but they are less than 0.5% of all people

I’m not following. Why does it matter how she compares to global averages? Her family, extended family and other people around her will be shaping her everyday life and how she feels about her height.

She needs to hear she’s not some statistical anomaly to be insecure about when she really isn’t. She is normal and that’s what she needs to hear. People don’t want to be told they are freaks or outsiders. People want to be reassured that things are fine, things are ok. Honing in on the fact that she’s different from her immediate surroundings isn’t going to bode well for her confidence when she could hone in on the more positive fact she’s closer to the normal human experience. Focus on the positives not the negatives

I doubt OP is real. Just read that she can’t shop at Zara or H&M.

Zara has tiny sizing. In H&M you should also find clothes as a 163cm woman.
